We've raised an interesting question in the story recently... how will we deal with death? Obviously, no one will live forever, but at the same time, we shouldn't kill off 17 Colorfolk every arc.
I propose that before we kill off a major character (such as a Colorman), we post our intentions in advance here to be approved. Canon characters from TTTE are pretty much off limits, but anyone else could potentially die if the idea is approved. Thoughts?

In my opinion, I wouldn't think it necessary as long as a Colorman just doesn't die through murder (though that is allowed in 3WSR Books). But if everyone else thinks otherwise, I'm fine with that. By the way, I just killed my new character, Hossenhossen.

Well, we shouldn't kill off characters for the sake of killing them, I think that we can agree on.
If we do kill of a character, he should have a chance for some development before we do so.
So take Man In Egyptian Blue, the wise elder of this generation.
He is an older man, and could die soon. He has some development, but I think there is room for more. Then, once his character is developed to a point where we are satisfied, then we can kill him off.
But not in some bloody horror movie kind of way... it could be under controlled circumstances, like peacefully passing away in the hospital, or it could be in battle, but we don't do anything "over kill"
So something like:
And with a mighty heave of his sword, he was stabbed straight through the heart. He took one last look at his foe before closing his eyes and falling limp.

Well, I've kind of been thinking of having the Pinks sacrifice themselves to kill Brainiac when the Amber Apricots eventually return to Sodor.
All three have some development, and I'm planning on more (the Amber Apricots won't return for a while). I kind of feel like the Bronze Mage is their nemesis, so when he's gone they'll be surplus to requirements, and it'll allow them to go out doing something significant. Thoughts?
(At present, I don't plan to (or want to) kill anyone else, don't worry. And I'm the only one who uses them anyway)

All, right, so we will discuss that in further detail when that plot comes up.
In the mean time, does anyone else have plans for potential kill offs in the future? It is better that we discuss them first.

That's the only one I had, unless you were serious about Egyptian Blue.

No, not for a while; but eventually the time will come for him to pass down the power

I suggest that, since he's the oldest and wisest, he just pass away in his sleep.

That brings up a question: does Egyptian blue have a son to pass the linage onto?

Yes; we just haven't introduced him yet

Hey is D-11 dead, I thought he was just in a coma or something like that

Well, in the interest of avoiding the implications of killing yourself off, I'm guessing coma.

I actually retread what I wrote and I guess I brought him back through the prism's power

Nope, Diesel 11 is dead. I will come back to life (someway, somehow), but not yet.

I've thought of something
Except for Colorfolk, if a character is your creation, then you may kill him or her off, thus, ourselves are our own creations, only the creator of the character can bring it back to life

Fair rule;
I was eventually going to go down the path of Man In Egyptian Blue dying peacefully; but that is several arcs away. Anyone else ok with that?

Hey guys;
Recently D-11 tried to kill off Sir Topham Hatt by the new assassin of the VEC.
It didn't happen because at the moment, death is not a very good topic for me to handle right now due to having lost a dog and a cat in 2015.
However, I have had time to think about it, and I think I am nearly at a point where I have just about moved on (for lack of a better term).
So, I may need a little more time, but from a story perspective I have taken time to calm down and see there is potential with this plot (Plus if we think about it, the current Sir Topham Hatt is getting old, so it would be time for him to be replaced by the next Sir Topham Hatt)
So what are your thoughts guys; is this a plot worth revisiting in the future?

It's possible, but maybe differently, like STH has a heart attack or something and his shares are put up and VEC or some other group buys them and takes over, completely changing the railway. It would probably lead to a battle where the group is defeated and STH's son becomes in charge after that event...
