I just had an idea so crazy it requires multiple spoilers. What if Man In Blue and the Bronze Mage Sacrificed themselves to kill Metalicana? We could also have Hohenheim die, and explore the power vacuum formed without VEC's leader and deputy.

OH. MY. GOSH. That sounds great! But I bet the others won't like it.

(Huh; can't find the spoiler button on my phone; odd)
while the idea is interesting, I just can't support it; Man In Blue is one of my favorite characters here, and I cannot let him "go that way."

Ya know what? Let's just kill 'em all, and start 3WSR over!! Ok ok... let's do something else... I've set up another game in the LONG GAMES board, called 3wXr, in which we can get all our dark stuff (here's lookin' at you and me, Toz76! ) out, and focus on the good stuff in 3WSR.

Does anyone else thing one of the VECites should die escaping from Impel Down? It would really establish SOM as a force to be reckoned with.

It's an idea; but which one? The blood alchemist is too important to the plot to lose.

No; he's got a lot of potential; we shouldn't lose him so fast.
Brain drain perhaps?

We could have someone noblely sacrifice their life to keep the gate open so the group could escape and the Warden "kills" this character, but we find out later they aren't actually dead but now is I. Charge of Level 5.5

What say they all die, and then magically come to life again?

No.
Kniitwitt just makes those magic capes, and the cushion, well he's the cushion. We'll figure it out.

Reviving this thread because we're nearing the end of thread two, and since we killed of MIEB at the end of thread 1, we ought to do something similar at the end of thread two, IMO. Thoughts?

IDK, Man In Gold's granpa? Maybe? I'd go with one of the PIC but I haven't fleshed them out yet.
