(enter FRANK)
Frank: Ok, now that my confusion is cleared up, maybe now we can...
(two arrows fly from offstage and strike D-11. He falls to the ground with a thud)
Frank: Oh no! Assassins! Frank said (wields sword)
(enter ASSASSIN ONE and ASSASSIN TWO)
Assassin One: Oh dear, a witness is alive
Assassin two: That will never do
(BOTH draw knives; FRANK readies sword)
Frank: Thou damned cowards; you will paint my sword red!
(FRANK charges at them; a fight ensues. ENTER MacGrady and Goldren on stage right. As this action happens stage left, we see them looking triumphant)
MacGrady: Ha! The fool never stood a chance.
Goldren: His throne is ours now; and when this kingdom is in our grip, we shall become the most powerful emperors the would has ever known!
MacGrady: Tis such a shame D-11 could not be here to see our rise, but he's had a nasty fall.
(MACGRADY and GOLDREN share an evil laugh)
(STAGE LEFT: FRANK holds one assassin at the end of his sword. ASSASSIN TWO lies dead in foreground)
Frank: Now, who sent thou?!
Assassin One: It twas the cousins to this man here (coughs), the rivals dukes for his empire, MacGrady and Goldren.
Frank: The fiends... they shall pay for my dear friend's life!

(D-11 sees no one responds to his call. He tries again)
D-11: My friend, Frank! Please, can thou help? It is most unusual, for no response is not the reaction I expected.
(ENTER the Reaper; a figure in all black with a scythe. He stands over D-11)
D-11: Oh no, it not be this again!?
(Focus on FRANK, stage left. both ASSASSINS are dead)
Frank: Thy swine dare to harm my friend? Oh, forgive me Lord Randow, but in haste I must avenge my dear friend. MacGrady, Goldren, I shall see to it your appoints are kept, right after MacDermont and before the hag who cursed Randow!
(Exit FRANK)

FRANK: To be, or not to be, that is the question: Whether 'tis Nobler in the mind to suffer The Slings and Arrows of outrageous Fortune, Or to take Arms against a Sea of troubles, And by opposing end them: to die, to sleep No more; and by a sleep, to say we end The Heart-ache, and the thousand Natural shocks That Flesh is heir to? 'Tis a consummation Devoutly to be wished. To die, to sleep, To sleep, perchance to Dream; aye, there's the rub, For in that sleep of death, what dreams may come, When we have shuffled off this mortal coil, Must give us pause. There's the respect That makes Calamity of so long life: For who would bear the Whips and Scorns of time, The Oppressor's wrong, the proud man's Contumely, The pangs of despised Love, the Law’s delay, The insolence of Office, and the Spurns That patient merit of the unworthy takes, When he himself might his Quietus make With a bare Bodkin? Who would Fardels bear, To grunt and sweat under a weary life, But that the dread of something after death, The undiscovered Country, from whose bourn No Traveller returns, Puzzles the will, And makes us rather bear those ills we have, Than fly to others that we know not of. Thus Conscience does make Cowards of us all, And thus the Native hue of Resolution Is sicklied o'er, with the pale cast of Thought, And enterprises of great pitch and moment, With this regard their Currents turn awry, And lose the name of Action. Soft you now, The fair Ophelia? Nymph, in thy Orisons Be all my sins remembered.
TOZ: What?
(Exit Frank)
(Enter Diesel 11)
DIESEL 11: Ah my friend, 'tis good to see you again. REAPER: DIESEL 11: Yes, those were some good times we shared. REAPER: DIESEL 11: What?! My friends think I am dead? Impossible! REAPER: DIESEL 11: Good point.

(D-11 remains at stage right; enter FRANK, stage left)
Frank: I know not why I was contemplating death just a moment ago, for my resolve to avenge our friend is stronger than any force I know
Toz: oh, is that what you were going on about.
Frank: aye, 'twas a play I loved.
(D-11 and reaper)
D-11: So, what business rings you here?
Reaper:
D-11 what? Me? Are you certain this is not a mistake?!
Reaper:
D-11: and the other?
Reaper:

DIESEL 11: But I must kill him? REAPER: DIESEL 11: Very well...

(Actually, that gag was supposed to be the only time he spoke; a play on the expression "the only thing I have to do in life is die and pay taxes"
Diesel 11: So am I to return now?
Reaper:
Diesel 11: What? How can I have an appointment with you
Reaper:
Diesel 11: well, I suppose that makes sense when you put it that way.
(Note: D-11 will probably come back somehow; I'm just helping set up for his dramatic return)

DIESEL 11: But wait, do old friends need appointments? REAPER: DIESEL 11: Yes, I know that you have a very busy job, but I'm a king! REAPER: DIESEL 11: Hey! Don't forget about all those times I shared my money with you at college! REAPER:

(Back with FRANK and TOZ)
Frank: we must think this through, for those are vile souls to be vanquished.
Toz: if they have an army, then we shall build one too; for they have many enemies we can ally with

FRANK: And they are...?

Toz: I know of the leaders of various orders of knights, and independent territories who would rather see these fiends go. We get them on our side, and MacGrady and Goldren will pay for their crime
Frank: He may have been a rather odd fellow, but D-11 was still our friend, and we shall avenge him
Toz: Then off we go, to find our friend and avenge his death
(Exit FRANK and TOZ)

(Enter THE REAPER and D-11)
D-11: Are you sure she must die?
Reaper:
D-11: Well, that is true, no water for four days definitely does that to people
Reaper:
D-11: You are death itself, so no, I won't stop you
(REAPER raises his scythe, and prepares to strike down JULIANA)

(JULIANA begins to drink water. After some time, she begins to not look well)
D-11: What is this? The water should have saved her!
Reaper:
D-11: Cholera?! The water is contaminated?!
Reaper:
D-11: But surely...
(scene refocus to FRANK and TOZ, now joined by TUG and TGC)
Tug: We have spoken to those thou hast requested us to find; they will support us and we shall march upon the former D-11's land with an army behind us
TGC: The enemy numbers well, and may hold he city, but our friend shall be avenged, so I swear.
Frank: MacGrady and Goldren shall pay, both for the great D-11's death, and the plot on the peasants. Be ready comrades, for when the sun rises, we attack!

(Meanwhile, LENA is randomly walking through the desert when she comes across a dying JULIANA)
LENA: My friend! What has happened? JULIANA: 'Tis the water; contaminated I believe it is. I am dying of a disease. LENA: I believe it is contaminated with cholera. Fear not, dear friend! for I know the cure.

Reaper:
D-11: So what do you have to do now?
(REAPER takes D-11 by the hand and they disappear. The stage brightens as the Sun Rises enter FRANK, TOZ, TUG, TGC and some SOLDIERS. In the distance, the castle can be seen)
Frank: Today, our fallen friend will be avenged!
Tug: MacGrady and Goldren, you shall paint my blade red!
TGC: Your plot on the peasants will be stopped!
Soldier 1: The troops are ready sir!
Frank: Then let us prepare formations! Troops, stand at the ready! For today, the great D-11 gets avenged!
TGC: D-11 looks down upon us from up above; let his blessing guide us!
(our heroes stay stage left. enter D-11, standing stage right; he is looking up, surrounded by red light, eating popcorn)
D-11: Frankly, I do not care who wins; I find this whole situation very entertaining.
(Sounds of battle are heard. Enter two SOLDIERS)
Soldier 1: Oh, hello, are you the king D-11?
D-11: Yes, I am
Soldier 2: We just died avenging you, you know.
D-11: Why thank you lads, that is quite flattering.
Soldier 1: So... what's it like down here?

D11: It's a living Hell
(Back on the battlefield, our heroes have made it to the castle's gates, with the countless dead of enemies and allies alike surrounding them...)
Toz: Thou sin of dethroning and slaying our ally will not be forgiven, charge towards thy gates!
Tug: Tear them down!
(The soldiers begin laying siege, using a battering ram against the castle doors)
