Here, we can discuss the mysterious man behind the story and universe of 3WSR, The Writer.

I'd just like to point out that the Writer is the most evil character in the series.
Who controls D10? Or the Z-stacks? Or the evil colorfolk? Or any of the other villains? Him. In a way, he's responsible for all the bad things that have ever happened in the story. Heck, let's make him be the mysterious "boss" the Bronze Mage mentioned. Agender, evil, controls all the others... bingo.

to be honest I do not think he's evil;
I do see where you are coming from, but he is just writing a story, and there has to be a bad guy in the story to fight the good guy, otherwise there isn't much of a story.
and I think it was already established that he is not evil because he has prevented many events from happening because "this is a children's show, and (blank) is not appropriate"
don't get me wrong, that is a good idea you had; however, it contradicts a lot of other things we've written.

Shoot. I'll have to use that idea in a different story. At least I checked first!

The writer probably has a massive identity crisis.

As mentioned previously, my intent for the writer was that he is meant to be a metaphorical representation of all of us, but every time I try to explain that idea to myself, I wind up getting confused, lol.

You know, I almost think that perhaps if we went this way โ
Leo Tolstoy met the Rev. W. Awdry in the Afterlife, and took an interest in his books. "You know," said Tolstoy, "I've a great idea for a story, with your characters." "Go ahead and write in then," said Awdry, "I'm curious as to what you'd do." And thus Three Word Story Revolution was born.
Thoughts?

Isn't Tolstoy the one who wrote war and peace?

Yes, he did.

Except we've kind of already established within continuity though that the writer is a metaphorical representation of all of us, which is what also allows to appear within the stories as characters since per se we aren't the writers.
(Yes, we are the writers, but in the story, it is the writer who is writing the story)

Oh, well, it was worth a shot.

You know, we actually haven't developed our "in-story" personas that much. We know that we've got "writer powers" that let us change the future and present, but other than that not much. So let's discuss the other writer... us.

I know all about myself... it's YOU who's got some talking to do!
