At the front of the train, Steel was getting ready to smash the tidal wave, which was starting to look more like a tsunami, when he heard, "Hello Hikos..."
"Hohenheim.."
But further back Eddie Denim conviently regained consciousness for no reason whatsoever...
"Woah that was a nice nap, well time to show my true skill..." Said Eddie as he pulled out his violin and started to play...
The notes from the instrument began to fly towards the Colormen and forced them to dance...
"Why are we dancing?" asked Man in Capri while doing a river folk dance
"I have no idea!" shouted Man in Black who was doing the Tango with Man in Amber Apricot
Just then Man in Bole threw a wrench at Eddie knocking him back out again, releasing the Colormen from the dance...
"Bole why weren't you dancing?" asked Man in Capri
"I have tinnitus now because you guys are always making my inventions explode right in my eardrums..." Man in Bole replied
"Oh sorry..."
Meanwhile...

In the clearing in the forest, all was peaceful, as the fighting had moved away from it. Man In Egyptian Blue's son was cradling his father, who had fallen into his arms; his family had gathered around him.
"Dad? Dad! Dad, please wake up! Please...please..." his son said, now starting to cry.
The Elder Man In Egyptian Blue's eyes opened slowly and weakly.
"D-Dad?" the son asked.
MIEB gave a warm smile; "It's all right son; it's all right" he said to his son as The rest of the family watched on.

"Son, I believe I don't have much time left, so I want to tell you one final thing..." said Man in Egyptian Blue
"What is it father?" asked his son

"Your family is more valuable than any treasure that has ever existed. Protect them with your life, so you don't lose your loved one like I did" he said to him.
"Yes Dad; I understand." The son said.
Just then, four spirits appeared; the more recent Men In Egyptian Blue had refrained from taking part in the major battle because they knew this was going to happen.
"Grandfather?" Said the son to the one of the group he did recognize.
"Yes; please, go take your family somewhere safe; we will need some time with Milton here" said the deceased MIEB.
As the family left, Man In Egyptian Blue passed on his artifact, making the passing on of the power official.
"Well, I am ready" Milton Craddox said to his ancestors.
"Actually, we will need to talk a bit" said his father.
Meanwhile, back at the Tidal wave, the fight was well underway; Man In Steel was determined to stop it from hitting Sodor.

"We need some way to stop this wave! Even my most powerful spells aren't working!"
"I know a spell." It was Woman In Booger Buster.
Man In Black was relieved. "Go! Quickly!"
Woman In Booger Buster climbed on top of Cranky, and stood facing the mighty wall of water. She reached out her arms and yelled:
"Deus Ex Machina!"
The wave suddenly and drastically slowed down. It was no longer a threat.

This meant the Colormen could now focus on fighting the VEC that were in this area.
.........
In the writing room, Frank was talking to Toz, tug, TGC and D-11
"Ok, so this sea battle is the last major action of this arc; once this battle finishes, we cut to the finale at Diablo tower, where the Colorfolk ancestors help deliver the coup de grace. Then after the battle is over, the Colormen for the first time in hundreds of years make themselves public, announcing that the protectors have returned. Subsequently, once all is calmed and cleaned up, Stephen Hatt will step down to let Richard take over, and we will launch into our other arcs, such as the investigation into the American Colormen, and the trial of the numbered diesels. So, any questions?" Frank said as he was pointing to various storyboards.

Back in the battle, Man In White was concerned.
"Even if we win now, VEC has already disturbed every grave on Sodor and done millions of dollars worth of damage. We have no choice but to reveal ourselves."
"Perhaps we could forge some sort of treaty with VEC? At the least, it would prevent this from happening again."
"I guess we could... I mean, they can be reasoned with, but it would be very anticlimactic."
"I disagree on the grounds that this is not a work of fiction and there is no "climax" we'be been building towards." Man In Gold countered.
Meanwhile, Man In Steel was fighting Hohenheim.

Enraged at losing the tidal wave, this part became strictly about destroying the Colormen that were present. But since Tug had a pretty good idea of where he wants to go with this sequence, we'll let him write out this part.
Back in the forest clearing, the Man in Egyptian Blue had finished talking to his ancestors, and called his family back.
"Son, come towards me" he said to the new Man in Egyptian Blue.
"I don't know how much time is left; a few minutes, an hour, maybe. Let me spend the last of my time here with my family" he said to his son,
"Yes dad." Everyone gathered around; Milton Craddox was happy that at least, he could spend one more time with his family before he had to pass on.

Back at the battlefield, a ceasefire had been called while the High Colorfolk met with the Bronze Mage, Chessmaster, Hivemind, and Vivian to negotiate a treaty. Unfortunately, those at Brendam were unaware of the ceasefire, but oh well.

"And that is why you can't occupy any of the towns. However, if you want some of the surrounding land around your tower, you can have that so long as you don't attempt to invade the neighboring towns" Man In Blue said.
As the negotiations continued, meanwhile Man In Bronze had wound up being flown by the explosion to where the unicorn tapestry was.
"What is your wish?" The tapestry asked.
"Remove the curse from my lineage." Man in bronze said. "You can do that, can you?"
"Of course I can! I just think you shouldn't jump the gun on this."
"What do you mean?"
"Maybe there's a plot in store for the future where you go on an adventure get character development, and remove the curse by accomplishing a meaningful task."
"Ok, 1, since when do you try to talk someone out of a wish. And two, the curse actually causes more problems plotwise than it does create interesting situations. Just get rid of it.
And so, the tapestry did.
...
"Hey, what was that for writer!? That was one of the laziest decursings ive ever seen in my life!" The bronze Mage fumed.
"Then why is there a magical tapestry that can grant any wish, now matter what?" The writer asked.
"How should I know? It was introduced before me!" The Mage replied
"It was created, might as well use it." The writer said.
"Are you kidding me?! Why I ought to blast you right..."
And suddenly, the bronze Mage ceased to exis....
"Sorry! Sorry! I'll cooperate! It's still a lazy resolution though" the Mage grumbled. And now, back to the story.
...
Back at the negotiations...

Hivemind was firm on not giving up most of the people he had currently under his control, so they were negotating to let a certain amount of people go...
But we're going to go back awhile, and get rid of Toz's Deus Ex Machina since I have a better version of this scene, and we cut back to the Man in Steel about the face the Blood Alchemist with the tsunami's wave vastly approaching...
"Hikos, you're the only major player in my way, so let bygones be bygones and let me use that wave's destructive power..." said Hohenheim
"Sure I'll give it to you..." replied the Man in Steel
"What? Really?" asked Hohenheim
"Yeah, just first tell me more about 'him'" responded Steel
"I have no idea who you're talking about, but even if I did, he would rain down destruction far worse than what your little group can handle, and I'm not even allied with him..." said the Blood Alchemist
Steel's hammer clashed with the Alchemist's arm and bits of ice formed from the wet air in this storm until finally the man in Steel was able to knock Hohenheim down for one minute with the wave a stone;s throw away from them...
"Alright I got to keep that wave from hitting the Island, and the best way is... Smashing it!" Steel shouted as he raised the hammer behind his shoulder, and as it collided with the air, a shock wave was made that created a big enough hole for Paulie and his track to go through...
With ten seconds left, steel kicked the Blood Alchemist back onto the boat VEC came on, which all of the members still conscious had fled to to keep themselves from being defeated even further, just as the Sea Train thundered through the hole in the wave, VEC on the other hand...
"Is that Hohenheim?" asked Silent Night as Hohenheim fell beneath the feet of the awake member
"Is that the wave heading right towards us!" screamed Lightning Man as the wave, which had split into smaller pieces, washed right over them, sinking their boat and knocking the rest VEC out...
As the storm clouds moved away, and the sun returned, the Colormen saw the gigantic wave that was threatening to destroy Sodor, was now only ripples in a calm sea...
"Well that was hectic..." said Man in Black
"I know, but I still can't get over the fact we defeated a wave on Train that runs in the ocean..." said Man in Capri
"Technically he's a boat!" shouted Tug, who this time had been operating Paulie, so he didn't really fight except for the odd Duplicator clone or two...
"We should share plans sometime!" yelled Man in Bole
"Hey where's the Man in Steel?" asked Man in Amber Apricot
On top of Paulie, Steel was lying down on the boiler, tired, thinking about Hohenheim's words...
"How dangerous is could they be... Why is he really feared... I'm going to have to find out sooner or later... One day we will meet, and I will get my answers... Metalicana..."
An hour past and soon the unconscious members of VEC were being rescued from the sea, but not by who you expect...
"Here they are Commander, it seems we've been able to gather up all the important ones, and a few of the foot soldiers mam..." said a strange lizard-like man
"Thank you boys, Raios will be glad to hear you were able to find them this quickly before anyone really noticed, I'll even let you eat all of the ones that look the same..." said the strange harpy woman
"Gladly Mistress, though it seems we're missing one, he was spotted with them when they left the docks, and we can't find him anywhere..."
"If he's not on that list the Commander gave me, I really don't care, just be glad I'm letting you boys have some souvenirs, who was it exactly?" asked the Harpy
"Ocean Man, Mam..."
"He's the only one correct?"
"Yes Mam..."
"Alright then, I'll take the ones found back to the Commander, since the last VEC member we captured is completely torture proof so we can't get any secrets out of him, so find him no matter the cost, He's called Ocean Man, the sea is his playground, find him no matter what the cost is... If you don't bring back him either dead, alive, or even in pieces, just tell the men left what I did to the group that couldn't stop 'those two' from escaping..."
"Yes Mistress Monet, he will be brought before you and the Commander soon..."
"Thank you..." said the Harpy as she and some of the strange Lizardmen with her brought the unconscious Blood Alchemist, Eddie Denim, Silent Night, Lightning Man, Captain Dynamo, the General, Lock-On John, Kniitwiit, and however many Duplicator clones back to the base of SOM...
A few feet away... "Oh crap, they're on to me, I better get back to dry land and tell the Bronze Mage what's happened, he's going to be furious..." said Ocean Man as he secretly snuck away from the wreckage without alerting the Lizardmen, only for the Psychic Dolphins he was with the give him away, and the remaining Lizardmen gave him chase...
Meanwhile at negotiations, things weren't going quite as smoothly as hoped...

"Look, from what I can tell, the Duplicator clones have a far better physicality than most of Hivemind's current bodies. Since you don't really gain anything from taking over particular bodies, just return the innocent civilians, and we'll assist the duplicator in creating clones to replace them.
The VEC saw the point and conceded.
Meanwhile, one of the VEC members wasn't doing well. The one who controlled the corpses of the dead (Priori?) had suddenly found herself under attack by many vengeful spirits whose graves she had disturbed.
Coincidentally at the negotiations, Man in Silver was saying "and any corpses you reanimated must be returned to the grave; because disturbing them was wrong"

"Okay, look. You're a force of evil, we're a force of good. But we both have a common interest here. Whoever that Lich was, he's not alone. And he crushed you like a Star Trek villians crushes Worf. We need to work together to stop him."
"Please, they're no threat. And you haven't agreed to any of our demands yet. This is a negotiation!"
"We're not letting Hivemind control all of Sodor! And we're definetely not giving Priori every corpse on Sodor! Why don't you go invade somewhere else?"
"Well..." Vivian scribbled something down.
"Give us Misty Island and the corpses, and we'll stop trying to invade Sodor."
"Is this a trick?"
"No."
"You say that, but..."
"Shush, Goldie. It's the best we'll get, and we'll need them to stop the Lich. Besides, Misty Island is useless."
They agreed. The battle ended, and the Colorfolk left the tent, leaving VEC behind.
"Do you really think it'll work?"
"Hell yeah. I don't double-cross people unless it'll work."
"I'll need a few days to prepare, but I can do it."
"Excellent. Let's keep this one between us four, Hohenheim, and Inferno. We leave one of Hivemind's bodies in charge, and a week from today we set sail to our next target."
"I've always loved America..."
@@@@@@@@@@
The captured VEC members were hanging from a dungeon wall by their arms. They had been told it was the first stage of their torture. In the next room, dozens of lizard men pretended to scream in agony.
"What is this? This is no torture!" Shrieked Monet.
"Historically speaking, it's more effective than actual torture." Raios said. "Just you wait. By tomorrow they'll tell us everything, and then you'll have your fun..."

So the Colormen got to work, repairing Sodor's damage. If their magic could build Alistair's walls, it could also rebuild the island.
Slowly, the citizens from Sodor began to emerge from their hiding places. There was millions of dollars in damage, but the Colormen were repairing it. Some Colorwomen were present too.
Citizens saw many people in colored jumpsuits repairing Sodor with magic.
"What? What is this?"
"Goodness gracious! Can it be?"
"I've heard legends about Sodor's ancient legion of protectors... But I didn't know they were true!"
The assembled crowd stood silently as numerous Colormen approached them. Then the Man In Blue came forward from the rest and addresses the crowd.
"People of Sodor... Your protectors have returned." He said.

Man In Blue cleared his throat.
"Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Daniel Erdagovern. I am the 31st in a humble line of great warriors which have protected Sodor in secret. The Colormen were formed during the reign of King Godred, and have served as the secret protectors of Sodor for centuries. Though we did have a dark era, we are now back, and better than ever." Daniel said as he addressed the crowd.
"Wait, ColorMEN?" One of the reporters asked.
"Yes; though rest assured men are not the only ones with this kind of power. Actually, its just that they are kind of their own faction, so they have their own rules, if you will. But as a matter of fact, let me see if... Melody! Where are you?" Daniel called out to his girlfriend.
(We settled on "Melody" for Woman In Blue, right?)

(I think so)
While this was being filmed, in the bowels deep below Sodor, Raios was sitting at a desk watching this live statement play before him...
"The nerve of that bastard, thinks he's so high and mighty calling himself the protector, you know, if the Colorfolk didn't exist, then evil won't be attracted to Sodor, but then evil would still be here regardless if they had originally been on Sodor or not, for that is the paradox of good and evil, you can't have one without the other..." Raios said to himself
Just then Stein came in to speak with the Shadow Sorcerer...
"Commander it seems we'll had little luck with information from the prisoners, we'll gotten some Intel from them, but it seems what they've given is outdated compared to recent events about that rumored treaty VEC has with the Colormen, even worse, the Blood Alchemist has said very little, most laughed and said, 'thanks for the noise, I've been constantly cursed with the threat of silence since being stuck in The Gate, so send Raios my regards...' is all he's said and hasn't spoken since..."
"Damn that Bronze bastard, actually keeping a tight lipped organization, oh well, they're will break eventually, just keep the Monet's Lizardmen watching over them and we might find out some information eventually, I just don't want another incident like with 'those two' again, Metalicana is on my ass for that, is even sending a Warden to look after the prisoners because of it... Oh, and gather your forces, I'm thinking of letting you show off soon..." replied Raios
"Yes Commander, I'll take care of everything..." and he left the room...
"What is your game Man in Blood, why wouldn't you join us, this would have been easier if you had..."
Meanwhile in the prison cells in SOM's hideout, the VEC members were tired beyond belief, with the exception of Hohenheim and the Cushion, who the captured group reunited with...
"Damn does this hurt more than I though..." said Lock-On John curled in a corner
"Yeah, it was fine during the actual torture, but the pain's killer afterwards..." replied a panting Eddie Denim
"Man up you two, look at the Blood Alchemist over there, he's received the worse and barely has said a word about it..." said a slightly bleeding Silent Night
Near the gated door, Hohenheim was leaning against the wall looking at the bloodied body in the cell across from theirs...
"Is that who I think it is... I'l know that smell from anywhere... You're Qrow the Drunken Mystic, you're tales are known by every Mage and related to magic across the globe... How the hell did you end up here in such a pathetic state?" asked the Blood Alchemist curiously
"I did a favor for a friend, and plans didn't go the way they should've..." said Qrow as he coughed up blood
"But why are you in such a horrible state..." asked Lightning Man who had cuts all over his body...
"I helped with a prison break, let my two friends escape while I stayed behind to cover them, and when I was eventually recaptured they beat me till near death to keep me from trying it again... And they killed the guards we escaped the watch under as well to make their opinions clear..." Qrow responded as he coughed up more blood
"Thank you for the info, it's very appreciated..." said the Cushion, who was fine except for some slight bleeding of the ears...
Meanwhile Ocean Man had...

Made it to the ex-Misty Island; it had been rendered non-canon at this point, so no one cared about it.
Diablo Tower now stood on it, with the VEC having taken it over as its own.
Ocean Man came ashore, shocking some of the members that were nearby.
"Ocean Man? What happened?!" The asked as they ran over.
"Tell the Bronze Mage... the alchemist has been captured... there is a group far worse than us..." he said as he fainted.
Back with the Colormen, Man In Blue was just explaining how there weren't just Colormen.
"We're not sure why, but we recieved our powers separately, so we are different factions, technically speaking. We do work together a lot though, and some Colorwomen do call the Great Hall home. Now what was I saying? Oh yes." Man In Blue was looking around a little more.
"Melody? Where are you?" He asked

"How about lead a legion of Colorwomen against the VEC that saved the bulk of Eastern Sodor from destruction" Woman in Blue said as she walked in.
"See?" Daniel addressed the crowd. First he pointed to himself "man in blue" then he pointed to Melody "woman in blue" he explained.
"For every Colorman, there is a Colorwoman... Except for Amber Apricot; we have no idea why there is no woman in Amber apricot" man in blue said.
"Are the Colorwomen out protectors too?" A reporter asked
