Meanwhile, Vlad and his gang had convinced the night crew to do their 'bidding' so they set out to spread their words of revolution...
"Karl, Marx, I leave you in charge of gathering new recruits, I don't care about their type, we fight for all, so get going, i have other things to do..." said Vlad
"Right Boss Vlad..." replied the Duo as they departed...
"Now, to begin Phase One..."
....
The next morning, Karl and Marx returned to the Smelting Shed, with the new recruits just outside...
"So comrades, who have you gathered for our revolution?" asked Vlad
"Well Boss Vlad, see for yourself..." replied Karl
"First one come in!" shouted Marx as a long, green diesel soon rolled in...
"Introduce yourself comrade..." said Vlad to this diesel
"Hi I'm Derek, and I'm joining this revolution because no one takes care of me, I break down a lot and those snobs at the Dieselworks won't even repair me, I have to go across the island to a falling apart workshop just to get my engine fixed up... If we succeed, i want all diesels to be able to get the proper repair treatment!" replied Derek wholeheartedly
"I like this one, welcome to the Revolution comrade! Please wait at the back until we're done, and then I"ll give you a job to do..." replied Vlad
"Yes Sir!" said Derek as he went to the back of the shed...
"I like him to boss... Next!" shouted Karl
A black, diesel-looking steam engine soon chuffed up next...
"I'm Neville, I'm kind of shy, but I'm joining your revolution so I can get my voice heard, since I'm not really the boisterous type, also, to get back at those guys, both steam engines and diesels, for being racist towards me when I first arrived..." said Neville
"No matter what you look like, the revolution welcomes you! Welcome aboard comrade! Wait at the back until further orders are given..." replied Vlad
"Thank you..." said Neville as he chuffed towards Derek's location
"He wasn't so bad, as long as you gathered some other good ones like those two, our Revolution should do fine..." said Vlad confidently
"Next!" shouted Marx
A grey diesel soon rolled in front of the three other diesels...
"Um... I'm Dennis... And I'm joining this revolution because I find it unfair that some engines are allowed to asleep whenever for a bit, but I can't not work and sleep for hours on end... If we change it, I want to be allowed to sleep and do nothing whenever!" said Dennis loudly though he zoned out towards the end...
"Well... That's not the worst reasoning for overthrowing our societal hierarchy... So please join the others in the back comrade..." said Vlad worryingly
"Sure..." replied a drooling Dennis as he slowly rolled towards the other new recruits...
"Well he's... something at least..." deadpanned Vlad
"Next!" yelled Karl
An orange, saddle tank engines soon chuffed towards them...
"I'm Billy, and I'm joining your revolution to further my own agenda... I don't follow orders very well, and I do everything MY own way... As long as I"m in charge, we'll work well together... Now bye, and thank you for excepting me..." said Billy forcefully as he puffed towards the other new recruits before Vlad and his gang could stop him...
"Should we throw him out Boss Vlad?" asked Karl
"No, it would be against our revolution to reject someone how came to us... Though if he's more trouble than he's worth, he'll get the 'shunted', if you know what I mean..." replied Vlad
"You three! Next!" shouted Marx
Two strange looking yellow and grey tank engines and a small blue tender engine chuffed up next...
"Hi, I'm Bash, that's Dash, and he's Ferdinand... Now that our home no longer exists, we want to show them the true might of the Logging Locos until they truly fear our names..." said Bash and Dash
"That's Right!" said Ferdinand
"Um... Great... Um... Spunk... Welcome to the Revolution?" said Vlad
"Yeah!' shouted the three as they went to join the others...
"Next!' yelled Karl
A black tender engine soon puffed up to the three diesels...
"I'm Barry..." said the engine before being interrupted
"Who?" asked the diesels
"Barry... Barry the Rescue Engine..." replied Barry
"Still doesn't ring any bells, but carry on..." said Vlad
"Well I"m joining the revolution because everyone seems to forget me like Sidney's mental problems, so I'll do something that will make them never forget me, like this revolution for example..." responded Barry
"Well, we heard worse reasons for joining today, welcome to the Revolution comrade!" said Vlad
"Alright thanks!" said Barry as he joined the others...
"Alright bring in the next one..." said Vlad
"that was it, boss Vlad..." replied Marx
"What? Seriously?!?" shouted a confused Vlad
"Well... It turns out most engines are happy the way this railway is run currently, even most diesels, so they weren't that many engines signing up..." replied Karl
"Well, they're not the worst gathering of rogues, and I can at least work with about 'half'..." responded Vlad, thinking about the 'Orange and American Hicks' Steam Engines...
"Well what's the plan now Boss Vlad?' asked Marx
"Get our new recruits up to speed, then we'll move on to Phase Two..." answered Vlad, as his allies cheered in agreement...
