As I recall, we brought them up a few times, but we never had the chance to elaborate on them.
A couple things we do need to figure out though:
Are they a separate faction from the Colorwomen?
Are they powered by the same prism or another?
Are there French Colormen?
Origin story?
But you said you have a backstory already, so I wouldn't be surprised if all this was already in place, lol.

My views on it: Are they a separate faction from the Colorwomen? Yes. The same. Why not have a different country, say, the Spanish Colormen, or the Swedish Colormen?

Actually, I think it would make a lot more sense, considering the established history, to have the French Colorwomen powered by a separate prism. Otherwise the "one color per" rule is violated.

Hmm, good point. Perhaps an alternate Prism?

The basic idea: one day, 700 years ago, the Woman In White had twins. One twin became the next Woman In White... the other fled. She became Femme Dans Blanc. She stole the Prism, and much like her British counterparts, ran through the French Countryside until she had all possible colors, before Man In Cornflower Blue regained the Prism.
So, to answer your questions, Frank:
Yes.
The same.
Undecided, but probably not.
EDIT: RE One-color rule: The rule has been bent a few times. Remember, there's a group of Colormen (M&P Carmine is one of them, I think), where there are three names for one color. Since the names are in French, it should be fine. Also, twins. That'd mess things up.

Good job; perhaps when the time comes we can elaborate more on this; this is a great start.

I don't know about you guys but I'm thinking after we finish with the Horned One and Metalicana, we should cross the channel and actually have them in a major role in a plot

The giant floating head of Brainiac/Man In Amber Apricot is trying to recruit them as we speak. They were out of the range of the purification, so the Morality Check doesn't affect them. I've had them on the back burner for some time now.

Well, they've recently been brought back to the spotlight; will we be seeing them again soon?

MIAA is being held in reserve for now. I am not 100% on what to do with him. My original intent was to bring them in after the defeat of VEC, but since they'll be sticking around for a while, I may go a different way with them. However, between Team Vert and they're relocation to Loch Ness, they'll be appearing more often in cameo roles at least.
