"Rest assured, we are not barbarians and vandals," said Captain Crobas. "You will come to no harm if you surrender quietly.

"Your actions against us are considered aggressive... back off now or face severe consequences of intergalactic law" Officer Frank warned.
(That is a thing in Star Trek, right?)

(There is Federation Law, but I doubt these guys would respect it)
"Sir, they're firing phasers at us!"
The ship shook.
"Shields are intact, no damage."
"Let's get out of here! Warp 5!"

And the starship set off. They began travelling at super speeds.
"it's moments like this that make me wonder if I should have stayed on Earth" Officer Frank grumbled.

Soon, the ship arrived at the starbase, and TGC and Wellsworth were brought aboard and shown to the quarters. There was to be a meeting for the senior staff in five hours, but until then everyone took time to relax.

However, no one realized that the enemy ship had been following them the whole time...
Captain TOZ was trying to open a Coke bottle without it splashing all over him.

First officer Frank was in his quarters... it was not his watch, so whether or not he was on the bridge did not matter.
"Bother me... this far out and it's not even been six weeks in Earth time. This warp drive engines truly are a marvel" Frank mused to himself.

Second Officer D11 was on Holodeck 2 flirting with the holograms when he was called to Engineering by Lieutenant Commander TGC.
"What's going on?" He asked.
"There's a problem with the impulse engines. They aren't responding for some reason."
"We need the impulse engines for slower-than-light speeds, warp drive is too fast. We need to fix that."
"I know, I just can't figure out what's wrong!" TGC snapped.

"...Well arguing about it isn't going to help us!" D11 shot back.
"Ugh... fine. I'll talk to the guys in the science division, maybe they can clue us in on something. After all, there's one or two guys there that worked with this kind of technology" D11 pointed out. And he left.
In his quarters, Frank received a call from the captain.
"officer Frank, please come to the bridge now" he said.
"Sir? my watch isn't for another 3 hours."
"Just come please" the captain said.
"All right" Frank sighed as he got up and went to the bridge.

"We've picked up a distress call from the colony on Erdagovern IV." Tug explained.
"Thank you, Tug. Set a course, Warp Factor 7."
Two hours later, they arrived at the colony, which was under attack from several Crovanian Ships like the one they'd encountered earlier.

"Frank, you've run hundreds of space battle situations in your training; any ideas?" Tug said.
Frank pulled up a computer and took aim at a couple of ships.
"Well, in my experience, the best thing you can do when taking on a ship like that is to aim for the bridge, like this:" and a powerful energy beam made the bridge of the enemy ship explode. "This causes a decapitation strike, effectively eliminating the ship's command, and causing disarray for the crew. Or, you can aim for the engine room, which I suspect is..." And the other ship's engine room exploded, plunging the ship into darkness.
"Now it's nothing more than a massive projectile, and if we're lucky, as it falls out of orbit it'll take some ships with it". In fact, the disabled ship was heading for a third one at that moment.
"So what now?" Frank asked the captain.

Uh... if this is too similar to the sci-fi adventure, should we can this one?

"Now we sit and wait it out."
"But what if..."
"But nothing!" said Toz. "We just have to wait until our ordeal ends."

"If you say so, sir" Frank said, going back to his post. He really wished he remained on Earth now...

Archived due to the game being a bit on the Esoteric side from Toz's perspective... may be worth revisiting in the future if my or anyone else's knowledge of Star Trek improves in the future though
