Werewolves. Among the monster species, humans feared them greatly as the monsters within. Hinted at, but not really explored in our universe as of yet, the werewolf was often described as "evil incarnate" among the many species.
This story is of one poor soul... cursed to share his body with that of a wretched beast.
......
I have done all I can. I know I can stop it, if these chains will hold. For the past few weeks, since the last full moon, I have labored hard on this hut, For it is all I can do to prevent this monster from going on the rampage. Chained to the wall, I silently wait for the inevitable. For once the full moon shows... it will emerge.
The moon shows itself. Already, I feel enormous pain and watch in horror as my human body disappears under a coat of gray. And now... it awakens. The beast that will take my place. I must fight it, even if the transformation can't be stopped. Agh! Even my mind begins to feel numb. Stop this at once! But it can't understand me... it doesn't understand me. My human intelligence is greater than its beast intelligence... but the beast is stronger... it overwhelms me.
I try to resist, but it is not enough. Everything...feels...numb...
..........
I can feel the sunlight hit my skin. I awaken to a horrifying sight... that which I tried to prevent.
My body is covered in blood... the shackles are on my wrists... but chains are twisted and broken. I am now more afraid than I have ever felt before... not even the strongest iron chains hold it back?! And worst of all, it... I... spilled innocent blood.
I cannot live like this. The beast must die... I, must die. There is only one faction I can trust with this task. I must find the Colormen, and have them end my life. No one else must suffer the wrath of the beast. No one else should carry the burden of having a monster within.
