(Believe me Frank, they're not going to just stop considering Gunnarson a suspect. Yes he tasked him with finding his revolver, but that was before he knew about the murder. Gunnarson came, the next day the host died; looks awfully suspicious, wouldn't you say? Actually there was even one time when a jury decided that Poirot was the murderer [the judge shot that down fast] because he was a foreigner. Yeah, they're not gonna just stop being suspicious.)
"What! Oh that is wonderful!" cried the Colonel, bounding up to meet Gunnarson.

He ran to the dining room, where Gunnarson was looking over the gun.
"Is something wrong?" Colonel Brooks asked.
"Indeed there is. Did you load this last night?" Gunnarson asked
"Yes; in case someone broke in I wanted to be prepared. Why?"
Gunnarson opened the chamber so the bullet casings could be visible. Of the six, three had what appeared to be punctures. "Your gun has been fired... And fairly recently too" he said.
"What?! My gun was fired?! So Dr. Walker died here?" The colonel asked.
"No; I've seen what gunshot wounds look like, and I'm not seeing anything here. The gun wasn't fired in this room; but that only brings in more questions" Gunnarson concluded.
Furious, Colonel Brooks ran across the hall to the lounge "who stole my revolver last night?!" He fumed.

"What are you blaming us for!" cried Ms. Parker. "Who says you didn't take it?!"
"What do you mean? You think I shot Walker?!"

"Well it was your gun; and you certainly know how to use it" Lady Goodwin pointed out.
"I never!" Colonel Brooks fumed. "Need I remind you all that while you are sending a witch hunt after me, that uniformed officer over there lied to our faces about the burglary ring! How do we know that he's not the murderer, and after us next?" he said, trying to deflect attention from himself.

"Alright that's it!" cried the Sergeant, springing up and clenching his fists. "You wanna have a fight? Huh?!"
Gunnarson sighed. "Here we go again..."

"Now boys, that's not necessary..." The Reverend said.
"Can it, Preacher! This is between me and him!" Sergeant Hamilton shouted. And they would have gone at it to, if it wasn't for the most unlikely of suspects.
"ENOUGH!!" A voice boomed. It stopped them in their tracks.
It was Ms. Ellis. "You will not fight in my employer's house; otherwise YOU will clean it" She fumed.
"Uh... yes ma'am" the two said, calming down.
"So what do we do then?" Mrs. Clarke asked.
"I propose we have Physician Warren look at the body; she is the closest thing we have to a medical examiner, so maybe she can give us some clues to Dr. Walker's death" Professor Miller proposed.
"Fine by me; anything to get away from that thing over there..." she said, staring coldly at Ms. Parker.

So the Physician examined the body.
"Well, what do you make of it?" asked Gunnarson.

"It's a mess, to say the least" Warren began. "Whoever did this; killing just wasn't enough. Contusions, cuts, gashes, broken bones, just about every type of injury possible. The murderer either didn't want the body recognized or the murderer wanted him to suffer, if I had to take an educated guess" she reasoned.
"Is there anything you can tell me for certain?" Gunnarson asked.
"Yes. Based on what I am seeing so far... there's no way poison was used; nothing here is consistent with poisoning" she explained.
"Makes sense to me" Gunnarson agreed.

"And if I had to make a guess, I'd say he died around 2-3 in the morning."
"How can you tell that?"
"Well..."

"Algor mortis and Rigor mortis. Based on his body temperature right now, and the stiffening of his body that has occurred so far, it would seem that he died about 6-7 hours ago" (It's 9 am now)
"Makes sense to me." Gunnarson agreed.
"Promise me you'll find whoever did this Gunnarson; I loved him so much and I can't believe that he's..." Physician Warren began, but then calmed herself down. "I'm willing to do anything to prove my innocence Gunnarson; if you need to ask me anything, please do" Physician Warren offered.

"That sounds like a good idea. I'll have to ask everyone some questions, so I might as well start with you."
"Alright."
"Now then, where were you around the time when the crime was committed?"

"Sleeping in my bed, of course. I have a bit of a reputation for being a rather heavy sleeper I'm afraid; during the war, I actually slept through a lot of the Blitz if you'll believe that. The loudest air raid sirens we've ever heard, and everyone was shocked that I just kept sleeping like a log. Dr. Walker often had to carry me out of bed just to get me in the bomb shelter" She said, reminiscing.
"So in short... you were sleeping?" Gunnarson asked, to be sure

"Yes."
"Right. Now, next question:..."

"Tell me little more about your relationship with Dr. Walker" Gunnarson asked.
"As I said, I was his fiance. It started back in medical school when we met. I still remember it well..."

(Wait, how old is Walker and Warren?)
"..we were told to work on a experiment together, and the rest is history."

(Walker is 34; Warren is 33)
"Experiment? You became doctors, not chemists" Gunnarson asked, confused.
"Well, not so much an "experiment" as it was a study..." Warren began. "We were doing research on the digestive system, and then one day, it just happened..." she fondly began recalling.

(Oh, I was expecting Walker to be in his fifties. How old is the other woman BTW?)
"I see. Now then, let's see here... when did you two get engaged?"

"We had to perform an autopsy on a patient who had died because of a new medication. Walker hated dead bodies, so I ended up doing most of the work. After the autopsy, I found him sitting dejectedly outside the lab and was trying to comfort him when I got the urge to kiss him. So I did, and I never looked back. I remember the first time we made love, he-"
"Is any of this relevant to the case?"
"... I suppose not."
"Very well, next question- how come no one else was aware of your engagement?"

(Gotta go with Toz's; it's more developed. Ms. Parker is 32)
"Dr. Walker is a sweet man; but he was also rather timid. After our... ahem, incident, he decided that it would be best to keep our relationship a secret, because he didn't want all the attention at the University, within our class." Warren explained.
"Why would he get all that attention?" Gunnarson asked.
"Well, I was one of only 3 females in our class of doctors in training and, well, if news broke out that he was dating one of them..." she began.

"Let me see... I think it was about..."
