Horror cinema is unlike any other. Many will argue that horror is nothing special, just something to give you chills, but its fans would beg to differ. Is it easy pinning down the definitive Top 30 Greatest Horror Films Of All Time? Like hell! There's a lot of great films that should have made this list, but these are the ones that I feel best define the genre and have proven to be popular among horror buffs. After the second installment the sequels gradually got more comedic and less scary, and there are plenty of people who will tell you that the first one is a dumb idea for a horror film. However, it's got a huge fan following, it was a pretty big horror hit in 1988, was terrifying for parents with kids, and hell, Chucky's become an icon in horror cinema. Does this film deserve to be on this list? Yes. Yes it f*cking does. And this is not my bias talking, no sireebob... 29 | Child's Play (1988)
