Glenn Danzig is one of the sexiest rock stars alive - just ask the ladies. But he's also a damn good musician. This song is one of the most popular songs about moms, and well, in metal as a whole. 26 | Danzig โข Mother

If you are a metal fan, you're bound to know this song. It inspired several bands, including Megadeth and Metallica, the latter of whom made a stellar cover of the song. Hell, when the Big 4 played together in Sofia, Bulgaria, this was the song in which all of them shared the stage. 25 | Diamond Head โข Am I Evil?

Ask someone if they've ever heard a Megadeth song and this one will likely be it. A great thrasher from their best-selling album, it's a standout track. 24 | Megadeth โข Symphony Of Destruction

Dream Theater is progressive metal at its finest, and this eight minute track is arguably their best contribution to metal. While the music video shortened it to four minutes, you definitely want the whole thing. 23 | Dream Theater โข Pull Me Under

After being kicked out of Black Sabbath, people were sure Ozzy's career was over. Then came Blizzard of Ozz. This song, written about occultist Aleister Crowley, features one of Randy Rhoads's greatest guitar solos. 22 | Ozzy Osbourne โข Mr. Crowley

If you're not a metal fan then this is probably the first Metallica song you've ever heard. It's famous, it's hard, it's a little mild but it's still one of the greatest metal songs of all time. 21 | Metallica โข Enter Sandman

After some rather mediocre albums, no one expected Painkiller - or how goddamn heavy the album would be. This song, released in 1990, is actually arguably the band's very best. 20 | Judas Priest โข Painkiller

This song is classic Black Sabbath, a fan favorite, and one of the greatest anti-war songs of all time. Before SOAD's "BYOB" and Slayer's "War Ensemble", we had "War Pigs". 19 | Black Sabbath โข War Pigs

Pantera's Vulgar Display of Power proved the band meant business, from the album cover, to this song. It's brutally unapologetic and a message to all of the sh*ts out there. If someone pisses you off, play this song. 18 | Pantera โข F***ing Hostile

It's the title track to Slayer's best album since Reign In Blood - and one of the greatest albums of 1990. A slower and softer approach than most Slayer songs, it's still a great song and features one of the band's best solos. 16 | Slayer โข Seasons In The Abyss

Okay, Pantera has more than one song to play if someone's pissing you off. This song is a metal classic amongst fans of the band and casual listeners, according to vocalist Phil Anselmo, a "f*ck you" friends of the band who became dicks after the band became popular. In his words, "Take a f***ing walk!" 15 | Pantera โข Walk

Ask most Megadeth fans and they'll tell you that this is the band's greatest song. Anti-war in the first part, then about Marvel's Punisher in the second part; it has a memorable solo and of course, that great, electrical riff. 14 | Megadeth โข Holy Wars... The Punishment Due
