3WSR 25,000 Posts Statistical Breakdown

So, I already did something to celebrate us hitting the big 25,000 post mark, but it was stupid, so here's something a bit more interesting. A statistical breakdown of what makes up those 25,000 posts, by both board and user. When you see a percentage of the amount of posts, know that number is exact. (outside of one exception, you'll know when you see it) 25,000 is a very easy number to divide.

First off, the 25,000 posts are divided among 840 threads. This gives each thread on the forum an average of 29.761904761904762 posts. Cool.

I don't actually know the precise amount of threads in the last two boards, but I know they have 15 together. Not enough interesting info could be gained from the specific stats for me to bother finding them.

Well, that's all pretty interesting, if I do say so myself. But what about users? There's some very interesting things of note here.

USERS:

First off, All Members Added Together: 24,115

Now, that doesn't seem right. For one, Toz's gimmick account The Schnoz has 666 posts despite never actually having had posted, bringing us down to 23,449. That, obviously, is lower than the total number of posts on the forum.

Well, there's one big reason for this: The Works and (I believe) the Rapid-Fire Games boards used to not contribute towards user post counts. I think I was the one who changed it, but I have no clue when. Any posts that slipped through the cracks are presumedly from those boards.

So now, with that out of the way, let's look at, of the 96.46% of the posts on the forum that can be sorted by user, look at how they're divided.

First Place: Eyes + Hans Gruber with 8,633 posts (34.532%)
Second Place: frankthetriviaman with 8,492 posts (33.968%).
Third Place: Toz76 + Riley + one post on Admin with 3,953 posts (15.812%)
Fourth Place: Tug with 1,565 posts (6.26%)
Fifth Place DISQUALIFIED: The Schnoz with 666 posts (2.664%)
Real Fifth Place: Me, TGC + Admin (-1 Toz post) + Aleph with 610 posts (2.44%)

So, there's the five of us, contributing 23,253 posts, (93.012% of the 25,000 posts, 99.164143460275491...........% of the 23,449 posts) but who has the remaining few?

Sixth Place is, surprisingly enough, TheIsraeliSudrian with 89 posts (0.356%). Out of everyone from the wiki forum who never really got into 3WSR on our own forum, I would never have guessed he was the one with the most posts.

Putting every miscellaneous wiki forum user (including TheIsraeliSudrian) together gets you 148 posts (0.592%). The remaining 48 posts (0.192%) come from a couple random people, who knows where they came from.

Twelve users out of thirty-two on this forum have no posts. Just thought that was interesting.



Well, that's all I could think to do tonight, while the data is still pure. When I post this, we'll hit the even greater 25,001 post mark, bringing the total number of posts on the forum up by exactly 0.004%, the total number of threads on the forum by 0.11...%, my personal total number of posts by 0.16...%, the total number of posts in The Office board by 0.51...%, the total number of threads in The Office board by 12.5%, the total number of posts in The Great Hall of 3WSR category by 0.02...%, and the total number of threads in The Great Hall of 3WSR category by 0.46...%.

Actually, one more thing, before I head off for the night. How do we compare to the Wiki Forum?

The TTTE Wiki Forum has 32,194 posts.

Ok, well that's not too bad-

In just the Game Board alone. The forum in total has 50,850 posts.

...

Well, maybe we'll get there eventually.
