This is 3WSR, except no colorfolk, and in the style of Sudrian Conflict
(WARNING: Characters from your childhood may die in this game. If you are sensitive to this or similar subjects, I suggest you do not play this game)
One day, Thomas was out running his branch line when...
"Is... Is that guy running on the tracks?!" Thomas said in terror

Thomas tried to brake as hard as he could, but it didn't seem it was going to work. The man heard this and jumped out of the way. Thomas soon stopped. His driver got out and talked to the man. "Why were you on the tracks, you knew a train was coming at this time!" Thomas's Driver said
"I'm very sorry for the inconvenience, I was late getting here, and I thought I didn't have time to go around so I just ran over the tracks, guess it turns out you were a bit late as well and I didn't see you coming" the man said
"Well, uh, that's kind of stupid, anyways, what's your name?" Thomas's Driver said.
"Christopher Stevenson" Chris said
Thomas's Driver took a breath "I guess you are getting on the train? You seem to be the only one here"
"Yyyyeah I'll get on" Chris said.
"Idiot." Thomas's Fireman muttered, after Chris had gone into Thomas's Special Coach
Later, the special coach ended up at the harbor, where Chris got off. Chris walked over to a new diesel, a BR Class 20, in it's regular BR Black Livery. On it's sides, the number said D8326. next to the diesel was the fat controller.
"Christopher, I understand you are new who it comes to driving engines, but I expect you will do well with D3828 here." Sir Topham Hatt said. "I will sir." Chris said. "Alright, your first job is to go to the blue mountain quarry, the yard manager will tell you where to go from there" the controller said "Yes sir." Chris said.
Chris walked inside of 8328's cab, and started to roll him out of the docks. 8328 passed by Gordon, and boasted.
"Look at me, number 4! Started in a good few seconds! Takes hours for a steam engine like you!" But before Gordon could respond, 8328 was gone.
"British Rail diesels are always so stuck up!" Gordon said to himself.
"You could say that again!" A posh British voice said
Gordon looked around to try and find the source
"Down here you idiot!" The voice said, Gordon looked down into the water, and there was a tugboat with a monocle and a top hat
"Excuse me, I do not believe we have met" Gordon said.
"Clearly not, I am Top Hat, from the Star Fleet. We moved here from a big city a while ago, as well as our rivals, the Zed Stacks. I am the Star Fleet's Railway Tug, I typically have the contract to work with the Skarloey engines at the wharf, but today I was assigned to take this rude diesel here. I assume you are Gordon, I heard about an A1 being here, but when the others got excited thinking the flying Scotsman was going to be here, it was explained it was just Gordon."
(Ok, One thing, I evaluated my various canons and found that my plan I discussed in last night's chat would not work in any of my canons, I am wondering if I can do it here with this one)

"Just Gordon? JUST Gordon?! Why I oughta-"
"You're just as bad as that diesel," Top Hat said, scowling, and went away to do his work.

Soon, 3828 was at Blue Mountain Quarry, and rolled over to his empty trucks, and waited for them to be loaded. Higher up, Sir Handel was pushing some gunpowder wagons into a siding. He was being careless, and bumped them into the buffers hard. One of the wagons slightly crunched open, and gunpowder spilled out. Sir Handel realized this, and tried to wheesh it away. Skarloey didn't see the wagons open, but he saw them slam into the buffers. "You better watch out Sir Handel, or else you'll blow us all to smithereens!" Skarloey said. "Huh, easy for you to say, you never have to deal with trucks and coaches hating you, you don't have the stress I do." Sir Handel replied. "You never know stress until you've seen what Rheneas and I have seen." Skarloey said, and continued to push his trucks towards Owen.
Skarloey braked at the end of Owen, and a few sparks form his funnel hit the ground. This is when the carnage started. By wheeshing the gunpowder, Sir Handel just spread it around, making it an even worse danger. A small fire started, but nobody seemed to notice it. The fire soon got bigger, and by the time it was noticed it was roaring right next to Owen's control room. Inside, a businessman was checking out Owen for a possibility for another to be built for another railway in Britain.
From the inside. The businessman and Owen's controller couldn't see the fire until it was too late. Part of the ceiling collapsed, knocking the controller unconscious, the businessman tried to pull him out from the wreckage, but he realized he would have to leave the controller behind if he wanted to escape.
By now, outside, Owen's roof had collapsed behind Skarloey, trapping him with the fire. He was on fire, and knew if he tried to escape down Owen's incline, he would just kill himself and others anyways. Skarloey closed his eyes, and let everything happen around him.
Meanwhile, the businessman had jumped out of Owen, and climbed into Sir Handel, and moved him back towards the gunpowder vans, coupled them up and started to move the vans away from the fire. Sir Handel slightly touched the fire taking the vans out of the siding, and the businessman, seeing this, pulled off his blue suit and put out the flame on the end of sir handel's buffer. By then, Owen's control box, and himself, were in burning pieces, and thumper, who was parked nearby him, was also destroyed. 3828 was still around, and saw a similar item, fuel tankers. Chris saw them too, and connected up to the tankers, and ran out with those as well. Eventually, Sir Handel and the gunpowder vans, as well as 3828 and the fuel tankers, were far from the fire. The search and rescue team was called, and Belle and Flynn were putting out the fire.
Eventually, it was out, and everyone returned to the scene. Blue Mountain Quarry was never seen in this awful condition. Owen, Thumper, and worst of all, Skarloey, were all dead. Sir Topham Hatt spoke to 3828 and Chris. "This is a very sad day for the North Western and especially the Skarloey Railways, but Chris and 3828's quick thinking saved hundreds of lives. From this, 3828 and Chris will stay on the railway, but of course, you will need a name, and I think I know how it find one." He turned to the businessman. "Excuse me, what is your name?" "Daniel Erdagovern sir." "Daniel it is then! Daniel, you are accepted into the north western railway."
Although there were some happy North Western faces, the narrow gauge engines were heartbroken over the loss of Skarloey. "Skarloey was always such a positive and light hearted engine, for him to die in such a dark way, it's so terrible!" Rusty said. "Skarloey will always be remembered by... The railway... And everything and everyone who... Made it a success." Rheneas said, holding back tears. Sir Handel didn't say anything.
He knew Skarloey's metal was on his wheels.

Previously, on 3WSR Conflict
A man by the name of Christopher Stevenson was almost run over by Thomas. He was on his way to the docks to bring the diesel on trial to the blue mountain quarry, where disaster struck. Sir Handel spread gunpowder everywhere by mistake, that caused Owen, Thumper, and Skarloey to die in a fire. A quick thinking businessman, as well as the diesel, were able to avoid even more deaths. The diesel was accepted to the railway, under the name of the businessman, Daniel.
And now, the next installment of 3WSR Conflict
The Skarloey Railway closed for a few days. The engines just stayed in the sheds. Normally if the railway had to close for the day they would talk, or listen to a story from Duke, but today, hardly anyone spoke a word. Sir Handel had still not said anything since the gunpowder incident.
Meanwhile, Daniel had been repainted into an Orange Livery overnight, as opposed to BR Black, and was getting ready for his first hopefully successful train...
