Murdoch: yes, he was annoying, always blabbering on about how awesome america is, we could never get to sleep while he was there.
Gordon: he would always get annoyed by us when we talked about anything but america, we havent even been there! he left after the loading gauge got the better of him though, he still had all his american weight, even when he was converted to run on our lines.
TGC: even being born in america im disgusted by him. we are all glad he is gone.

James- I know you prefer being red, but between pink, the black and yellow stripes and the solid black, which of your other paint jobs was the most... Tolerable?
|
|
|
Post by Admin on Oct 18, 2015 0:05:41 GMT -5
James: I would say the black, I hadn't experienced being red yet
James: the pink wasn't all that bad as it had a reason, being just an undercoat
James: but the black and yellow was just plain stupid, who would trust Percy with a railway, much less the livery of an engine who's entire personality in the Television series revolves around?

It's been a week, so I'm bumping this thread, and as a revival Marklin ttte.wikia.com/wiki/Marklin will be askable, along with Murdoch, so for now there are 2 askable engines!

Marklin: If you mean those damned goody two shoes diesels, then you will have to pay me extra. i wouldn't need that money if I could just get to that damn coal hopper on the little western, but instead I'm having to go to that damn steam tramper Johnny Cuba again
TGC: I don't know why I chose you of all engines to go on...
Marklin: maybe it's because I'm the only one here who cal tolerate all of these nut-jobs!
James: if you want to call using bad coal "tolerating"
Murdoch: WILL YOU TWO SHUT UP!

All- where do you stand on the theory that the current Henry is a new, different engine from the one derailed in The Flying Kipper? (Rather than Henry rebuilt)
|
|
|
Post by Admin on Nov 6, 2015 15:19:57 GMT -5
Murdoch: huh? Edward: when I went to the works soon after Henry I could only find Murdoch being built and no Henry to be seen. Thomas: I have my theories, such as Henry 1 being Murdoch, but he doesn't remember it. TGC: I told you that theory, Thomas. Thomas: umm... ADVERTISEMENT COMMENCE
buy 700 Take Along models right now even though ERTL was much better!
Marklin: now even I am having trouble taking you idiots seriously James: maybe because you haven't been getting any- Marklin: I swear James, if you mention any of that one more time I'll send some of my colleagues on you. Gordon: colleagues? Marklin: continue advertizing
Change to the new trackmaster right now, even though you already went through the pain of changing systems when going from TOMY to the old trackmaster!

All- so why do you make a distinction between steam trams and steam engines?
|
|
|
Post by Admin on Nov 7, 2015 0:21:53 GMT -5
Frank: Marklin: don't look at me, I haven't been in one episode ever, I refer to Toby and Flora as engines. Emily: and I was never around before the scripts so I referred to them as trams by default Percy: us on the other hand- Gordon: Percy, don't refer to the whole steam team as "us", as I was going to say before I was rudeley interrupted- Percy: by what you were going to say- Gordon: we call them engines when we are out of shot. Diesel 11: Marklin: it was good, better than that "Timothy" thing- Toby: I can't believe you actually watched it Marklin, I gave you all specific instructions not to watch it yet Marklin- Henry: Toby, you do realize you are talking to Marklin about instructions not to do something. Toby: (sigh) TGC, you take it from here. TGC: fun fact: I'm too much of a wuss to watch it.

All- thoughts on NWR1991 and Wildnorwester?
|
|
|
Post by Admin on Nov 10, 2015 11:27:00 GMT -5
Thomas: NWR1991 is good, watched 2 episodes, Wildnorwester is-
Gordon: a complete disgrace! Who would replace me with a reproduction engine? If it were Thomas and a reproduction E2 how would the fans react? In fact-
Henry: you do know that that Tornado is a real engine, Gordon. Anyways, TGC.
TGC: I've known about Wildnorwester longer than NWR1991 but I like both, I watched NWR1991's Jim and Neil to get a feel for the series, now if I had to choose one over the other i would get hate mail for months I would choose Wildnorwester.
