(Actually it's the blitz)
"Wait, what am I doing?" The writer undid that
D-11 waved his hand in front of Walkins face, concerned; nothing.
"Walkins?" He asked

Though disputed, Jackie Brenston and his Delta Cats are often credited to having played the first rock and roll song; what was that song?"

(Rocket 88)
Richard Hatt was meeting with some key people; they would need to plan out future trains for this extension.
"I am concerned that the current engines could get strained by this extension; with Daisy now on the new line I am concerned Toby, Percy and Thomas won't handle the additional stops"
"There's only three trains on that branch line?" one of the people asked.
"To be fair, only Edward and BoCo run the Brendham branch" another pointed out.

There was a long silence... then everyone started laughing.
"As if! That annoying orange tank engine was scrapped years ago!" An investor pointed out.
"There is one idea" someone suggested. "If that numbered Diesels hearing goes well, there's one that could be perfect for what we are looking for"
"Which one is that?"
"Diesel 17"
"Yes, very true; but he will need a driver on board in case of an emergency" Hatt pointed out.

And what were the engines up to? As has already been stated, Thomas was quite stuck-up, which was soon to land him in trouble...

Thomas had gotten to the yard early, and was there before any of the other engines. Percy and Edward's crews were running late that morning, and hadn't yet arrived.
He backed down on his load, and saw Percy and Edward's. He had an idea. "What if we took both mine and Percy's load? Then the branch line could get done faster!" Thomas reasoned. Normally, his driver and fireman wouldn't have allowed this; but Thomas' regular crew had taken the day off and the relief crew called in didn't know thomas that well.
"Say, I can pull a lot more than this; we don't we take that train too? It'll free up Percy's schedule so he can take other trains to help" he reasoned to the crew. Not knowing any better, they took the train and backed down onto Percy's.
The yardworkers were young and inexperienced, so they did not know better either. After coupling Thomas up to the other train. Thomas set off with 24 flatbeds of heavy construction materials, plus his brakevan.
"Uggghhh... I can do this, I can do this" Thomas said to himself; but he was barely making 15 mph.

Percy came to collect his train... "Where on earth...?!"
Thomas was thinking that him collecting Percy's train as well was a bad idea...

"Come on... come on... come on!!!" Thomas screamed as he pulled and pulled on the train. "Well, at least I'm not on the mainline... Gordon's Hill would stop me cold" he said to himself. That was the only thing in Thomas' favor though- a flat run to the work site.

Meanwhile, Daisy was getting ready for the morning passenger. "Oh, crumbs! Why do I have to get up so early..." Then she saw an amazing sight...

But given its importance to the plot, back the the numbered diesels arc
The trivia round had been great fun, but the time had come to wrap up the show.
"And I urge you good people to look at the engines themselves... they are not the monsters the media made them out to be; they are grossly misunderstood and you just need to give them a chance" Walkins appealed to the audience.
... (Note: again, not a "meanwhile", rather, a concurrent event that is meant to give the next guy an option of what to continue with)
Man In Blue was talking to Man In White with regard to the current mission.
"Can you see anything?" He asked white.
"I am working on it; The Helmet of Cronk is very powerful, but this... everything is slightly distorted, so I must use a little more power than usual" he explained. He proceeded to focus.

"Thomas! Gracious sakes!" For there stood Thomas, who had...

Been pulling the heavy train. He was very tired, and surrounded by steam.
"Should there be this much steam?" The inexperienced driver asked.
"Well it is a steam engine" the inexperienced fireman pointed out.
Just then... something burst. It was Thomas' safety valve.
"Oh no! The fire box is on fire!" The fireman said, horrified.
The driver facepalmed; even with his lack of experience, he could tell that sentence made no sense.

Daisy laughed when she saw Thomas. "Goodness gracious! What's going on here?" "It's. Not. Funny. Daisy."

"Do you realize what this means? There's a heavy train stuck on a branch line, and we can't get a big engine down here to move it!" Thomas said. Daisy didn't look so cheerful after all.
Sir Topham Hatt got word of this, and thought about the engines that could possibly help.
"Get Donald, Douglas and James; the three of them should be able to move the train" he ordered.
Fortunately, Donald and Douglas had jut finished with the train they were taking, so they were able to respond quickly.

James, however, couldn't come. Some cows had blocked the line, and he was stuck.
Donald and Douglas came up to Thomas. "We're here." "Do you think you can do it?" "Wale... wa'll give it a goo' try!"

Thomas had enough steam to go into a siding out of the way. Soon afterward the Scottish twins had backed down onto the train, and were ready to go.
"It's a flat run the rest of the way; just get it going and you'll get there without a problem" Thomas called out.
The twins acknowledged, and departed soon afterward.
...
The show was coming to a close, so Morris asked for some final words from his guests.
"Diesel 0 will never be able to run on his own again; his APS is a "rust cake" now, and will never operate again. That doesn't mean the rest of the diesels should never run again though. I'll strictly be there as moral support, but I'll be there for D-11 and Walkins as they defend the diesels" Bauer said.
D-11 spoke next.

But back at Impel Down, the Man in Steel and Chaos were riding Barry the Chopper, who was currently flying, to the entrance to Level 2...
"So what were those weird blue gorillas?" asked Chaos
"Oh, those are creatures are officially called Blue Gorillas, we prisoners called them BGs for short..." replied Barry
"What, you mean the pop band?" asked Steel
"Not the Bee Gees, Letter B, Letter G... You know, initials..." Barry responded
"Oh, makes sense... So why is this place called the Crimson Hell?" asked Chaos
"Just look over there, we're finally here..." said Barry as the three flew over rows of red, sharp blades poking out of the floor...
"This place is where prisoners are forced to run through the blades as punishment every day are be shot by the guards... Your choice... I'm glad I'm here because with my ability those blades don't affect me..." said Barry
"Must have been hard to make all of those red blades..." said Steel
"They weren't always red..." replied Barry as the Break-in Duo gulped...
"Anyways, there's the hole to Level 2, be prepared, because if you thought this was bad, get ready for a way crueler hell waiting further below..." shouted Barry as the three flew down the dark hole into the unknown...
"Damn they got away to Level 2..." said a guard
"What's the status of Warden Magellan?" asked another...
Down on Level 4, a guard was running to Magellan's office to report the break-in...
"Where's Warden Magellan? I have a very important update to give him..." said the messenger
"Sorry, Magellan has entered his 20 hour toliet break..." replied the guard at the door
"What do you mean 20 hour toliet break?" asked the messenger
"You see, Magellan really likes poison, and I mean REALLY likes it... He likes it so much to coat all of his food in poison, but because he's a poison man, it doesn't kill him, just gives him a bad taste of the runs..." replied the guard
"So why doesn't he stop eating poison then?" asked the messenger
"Well, I think he said he was addicted to it or something so he could stop, but it does;t really matter, he's held up with other business, so there's nothing much else we can do..." replied the guard
"Alright I'll leave a messing then... Do you think he'll really be in there for 2o hours?" asked the messenger
"Maybe even more, today's Taco Tuesday so you do the math..." the guard responded
"Great..."
"So what's this message anyway?" asked the guard
"Oh it's that the prison has a break in of what we believe to be a Colorman and a member of VEC..." replied the messenger
"Great Metalicana kid, don't just wait on the Warden go inform the other head staff of this, this could ruin Impel Down's reputation!" shouted the guard
"Alright what should I do then?" asked the worried messenger
"Go inform the Vice Warden Hannibal and the Head Jailer Domino about this and I'll see if I can see someone in with a gas mask to update the Warden... Maybe we can even get his cartable outhouse to bring him out to Level 4 to wait for the suspects... Don't mind me, go tell the rest of staff!" yelled the guard as the messenger ran off to do just that...
Meanwhile...
