Not sure if what you want to post fits in with the game? Have an idea but worried it may break the suspense of disbelief? Concern that you're ideas are contradictory to others? feel free to discuss and share ideas here, posting them out if you feel that is the best way to get your thoughts across.

Daniel was sitting at his desk when he heard a knock at his door.
"Yes?" He said as he looked up. A well dressed, older gentleman in a suit came in and stood before Daniel.
"Professor Erdagovern, may I have a word with you?" he asked.
"Chairman Richards, of course" Daniel said as he stood up.
"How goes the first day of the class? I trust your students were excited about learning?" The Richards began.
"Oh yes sir- they thoroughly enjoyed the class. I think your program will be a great success, sir" Daniel complimented.
"I will not lie to you- the idea of classes that teach niche topics was pushing it even for our board. The preservation and sharing of knowledge is important and all but... a class on the history of magic? Are we teaching history or mythology, Professor Erdagovern?" the chairman asked.
"I find that with magic the line between the two tends to blur... but my course is just as legitimate as any other sir" Daniel assured.
Chairman Richards sighed before continuing. "Mr. Erdagovern; I'm sure as you are aware we pride ourselves on small class sizes; our average class size is only 15. But your class... your only class... is four students. Not even our specialized science courses have classes that small. You do realize you walk on a tight line here, correct?" he pointed out.
"I do sir. And if my class is deemed useless, I will voluntarily leave this school, no questions asked" Daniel assured.
"I appreciate your devotion to the subject... I won't argue with you on whether or not this stuff has any real value. But I do hope that your students take something of value from this" he said as he turned around and left.
"Of course, chairman" Daniel said with a sigh. He thought about it... surely there was something more than a history he could teach. After all... a whole world of new knowledge had just opened up to him... surely there was something more he could offer his pupils.
......
It was the beginning of the next class when Daniel began addressing his four students.
"As I'm sure you are all aware, you took this class understanding that you would be learning about the history of magic. Well... that is true, but I feel this course has a little something more to offer. Therefore, I'm changing the name" Daniel said as he wrote something new on the board.
"Magic 101?" Frank asked, confused.
"What, you going to, teach us how to ride brooms?" Tug quipped.
"Not exactly..." Daniel began before...
(Does a simple, but impressive enough spell that the four are interested)
"Now then... who here is ready to learn something really, really interesting" he smirked
