Here, we will compile the timeline for the Literary Mosaics. If we ever want to go back in time and write a story for a year that we feel deserves more attention, now we can. Not only will we be able to put all stories in a proper order, but any new stories that come in between can now have some proper reference to the overall canon. Date | Volumes | 1938 | Blizzard of the Forgotten | 1939 | TAdolf Gunnarson's Christmas | 1942 | Murder of a Doctor Assassin Emerald Ideals *From the Desk of the Crown Prosecutor The Past Never Truly Dies *The Doctor's Secrets | 1946
| Empire Tangled Webs *The Scorpion's Head The Empire Strikes Back / The Underground Rises The Dullahan and the Banshee The Tables Turn Death Underground *Such a Gunnarson | 1947 | The Singular Case of the Woman with the Red Jewels Nemesis | 1951 | Moriarty Rising *The Next Generation of Crime | 1953 | Murder in the North Atlantic |

It occurs to me- because some stories overlap; we're going to have to consider using months in the near future

After some recent discussion, ultimately I think this timeline will require some expansion to be beyond years; namely as our canon grows we risk creating contradictions so we need to preempt that.
Maybe I'll do that once I finish up some other projects around here

As revealed in the London times, Dr. Manning Died on June 13, 1941, which places the events of Murder of a Doctor on June 14th.
From there, I think we can build off the rest of the timeline in a manner that makes sense.
Other dates to keep in mind:
1898- Gent is born
1916- Gent fights in World War I; spares soldier who eventually becomes Dr. Drugg
Early 1947: Michael Walton exposes Gunnarson as an incompetent fraud following poor casework on the Cromwell case; Vast majority of Scotland Yard and London stop seeing Gunnarson as "Great Swedish Detective" and "Gunnarson" becomes a slang term referring to a detective who over-relies on hunches to the point of failing to consider the evidence
Late 1947: five weeks after conclusion of "Nemesis" case- Gunnarson, unable to get work as detective, begins working at Koket of Sweden
