Wasn't that a great marathon ladies and gentlemen? That concludes our Metal Madness Marathon, and now we come to 15 minutes of History, with FranktheTriviaman, where in 15 minutes, he tells you about what happened this day in history. take it away, Frank!
"Thank you mr announcer. Today is March 5, and we look back on some of the most significant events in history this day. On March 5, 1770 one of the earliest events of the American Revolution took place- the Boston Massacre. On this evening, a crowd of fifty or so gathered around a small group of British redcoats, angrily taunting them outside of the Custom House in Boston. In an instant that changed the course of history, the redcoats fired. Three men fell dead instantly. The first was Crispus Attucks, a former slave. Also to fall were James Caldwell, a mariner, and Samuel Gray, a ropemaker. A ricocheting musketball hit Samuel Maverick, an apprentice ivory turner, who would die a few hours later. Two weeks after the incident, Irish immigrant Patrick Carr died of wounds received that day. Though war would not break out, in the coming years this was one of many incidents that would eventually set of the American Revolutionary War.

Let's pick it open one by one:
#10: Good choice to kick the list off with Overkill. #9: Oh, 'HELL' yeah! #8: I would've chosen 'Practice What You Preach' instead. #7: Er... Death is DEATH metal!! #6: Okay... #5: Maybe switched Exodus and Anthrax's albums, Bonded By Blood is a thrash CLASSIC. #4: See above; good Anthrax choice. #3: Would've done Rust In Peace instead, but okay. #2: No. Master Of Puppets is always in the top 5 metal albums OF ALL TIME, so it should've been chosen instead. #1: YES! Perfect choice for #1!
Overall, good list.

I've actually watched them before. The albums list was great (though I wouldn't have included Def Leppard), and so was the anthems list... but there could've been some changes, so I'll 'redo' it sometime soon.

Yeah, same here; they're lists are almost always the best, even if I don't 100% agree with them.

So, I said I'd redo the metal anthems list, so here we go.
10. Raining Blood - Slayer There is no band like Slayer. They have some of the heaviest music in all of thrash metal, and they're album Reign In Blood was just about the hardest up to that point in time. The title track itself regularly finds itself on 'best of' lists, it's heavy, hard, and features absolutely deafening guitar work. Couple that to Tom Arya's bloody vocals, and you've got a song unlike any other.
9. Cowboys From Hell - Pantera Pantera had four whole albums before they released Cowboys From Hell in 1990, but they all agree that this was their first REAL album. From the instrumental 'Art of Shredding' to the softer, but still heavy as hell 'Cemetery Gates', they've got some of the best groove metal out there. But it's the title track that makes this list. Kicking off with Dimebag's awe inspiring riff, and adding in Phil Anselmo's fast vocals, it's really a defining Pantera song.
8. Black Sabbath - Black Sabbath The title track to Black Sabbath's debut album is a chilling song with an awesome riff. Ozzy's vocals are second to none here, and it and the rest of the album was extremely influential to the metal scene. While I was tempted to choose one of the Paranoid tracks instead, this one is definitely the best.
7. We Rock - Dio This is definitely a good song to sing to. While 'Holy Diver' may be more popular, it's 'We Rock' that really can get you pumping. Both Vivian Campbell's great guitar work and Ronnie James Dio's vocals combine to make a great sing-along metal song.
6. Breaking The Law - Judas Priest While 'Painkiller' and 'You've Got Another Thing Comin'' would have also been good choices, it's this track from British Steel that makes the list. With an iconic riff and a great chorus, 'Breaking The Law' has become one of the most popular of all of Judas Priest's songs, and it's so fun to sing to, too!
5. Ace of Spades - Motorhead Motorhead is one of the most influential metal bands of all time, and this song is their most popular. Featuring song great guitarwork and Lemmy's gravelly vocals, that's no surprise! It's been sited time and again as a great track to play to non-metal heads, and I would agree!
4. Peace Sells - Megadeth This song is Megadeth's signature song. From the opening bass and drums, to the killer riff, and then Dave Mustaine's pissed-off vocals, it's definitely an awesome metal song. To top it off, it also features a sing-along segment at the very end. Don't surprised if you hear someone start singing "Peace sells, but who's buyin'?" for no reason!
3. Master of Puppets - Metallica It's amazing to see this song in concert. James Hetfield will often take a break from singing, and let the crowd do it instead! It's definitely catchy, and it's usually considered one of, if not THE, best metal song of all time, and it's not surprising, considering the riff, the vocals, and Kirk Hammett's guitar solo.
2. Run To The Hills - Iron Maiden It was tough to choose between "The Number of the Beast" and "Run To The Hills", but in the end, I chose the latter. If you heard the crowds singing to "Master of Puppets", but you'll hear them so much more for this song. The drum intro, the riff, the solo, and of course Bruce Dickinson's vocals, especially in the chorus, all come together to make a true metal anthem.
1. Crazy Train - Ozzy Osbourne Most people would agree that Ozzy's departure from Black Sabbath was a blessing in disguise. His first two albums, Blizzard of Ozz and Diary of a Madman, are considered some of the best in all of metal, and his signature song isn't a Black Sabbath song - it's 'Crazy Train' from Blizzard of Ozz. It's not surprising. It features one of the greatest riffs in all of history, and blistering solo (both courtesy to Randy Rhoads), and of course Ozzy's vocals. It's no surprise then that 'Crazy Train' is the greatest metal anthem of all time.
