Before I was told they were just normal humans with special powers, this is sort of how I imagined them: I thought they were colourful, faceless humanoids that looked like the AOL logo or TurboJUK's clay characters, whose mission was to... IDK, bring back colour to the world after some "evil" character/s turned everything black, white and grey, like what was shot with cameras before colours were introduced? That's why it sounded so.. "neh" to me.

While that is an Interesting concept, I assure you the Colormen have a far richer development, and have much symbolism to them.
For example- the reason they are the Colormen, and why no two have the same Color, is that it represents the diversity of the world. The Prism is the source of the Colormen's powers, and like light, though everything sort of "blends together" like in white light, just like when you use a prism to separate the colors, we see that "white light" is in fact full of diverse Colors. Much like how the World is full of diversity; that is the symbolism of why no two Colormen share the same color.

Can see where you're coming from, laG; before the Wiki, it was quite confusing!
