The thing is Diesels 9, 8, and 7 are just miniature versions of Class 42 warships which are the correct basis of diesel 10, so I don't see why Diesel 16 couldn't be a large version of a class 42 warship

Because for one, I don't think they were ever referred to as such. There is no such thing as a 15" gauge Class 42, so it's unrealistic. Honestly, I think of them as more like Rusty/Frank/IDK about D8 yet.

NEW RULE: If you want to make a new Numbered Diesel, post it here, and I will check over it. Then, if I think it looks fine, I'll PM you with a form to fill out. If everything looks in order, I'll enter him into the list.

What happened to D16? He already exists. I clearly remember that. Sure, he's lacking in development right now, but so are D7, D8, and D9.

so diesel 10 was the one that started it all, but I'm still confused about how 11, 12 and 5000 XL came to be. Where did they come from?

Diesel 11 was created for a couple of fictional movies, The Warp Of Diesel 11 and Thomas And the Rise Of Diesel 11, by Scratchpad Wiki. Diesel 12 came to be through 3WSR. Diesel 5000 XL was just something that I created on a sheet of paper, but ended up in out fandom. I'll post a picture of him when I get the chance.

So D11 isn't yours?

Yes, but he hasn't been developed any more than D7, D8, or D9. And they're already on the list. Also, HE'S ALREADY APPEARED IN 3WSR!
Also, Your Dieselness, I don't have time to fill out a form.

Too bad. All right, I'll add him, but from now one: No putting them in 3WSR until they've been added to the list!

Not really, no. The links are HERE and HERE. However, I've totally changed him, so he's not as kill-some as before.

I've modified the proposal for Diesel 2:
Is actually hidden behind the Diesel-works. At first glance he looks like a parts engine, but in fact is the victim of repeated burglaries. Whenever some lowlife crook wants to make a quick buck, they sneak onto him, steal a few parts and gauges, and go to the nearest scrapyard to sell the parts for quick cash. The reason he's abandoned is because years ago his cooling system suffered a "catastrophic failure" and because he was an older train (for the time), it was deemed that it would have cost more to repair him than he was actually worth. Though he is still 70% intact, he knows and accepts that eventually, he will be reduced to nothing.

Wait, I'm confused, aren't the diesels class 40s, not class 42s?

No, they are class 42s, check the wiki and compare pictures of 261 and Diesel 10 side by side

Yes, they are British Rail Class 42s and are also known as Warships. (Fitting, isn't it?)

It has been a while, so I just need a recap; what numbers do we have at this point?

You'll find them in the Numbered Diesels list.

I also want to create a love interest for Diesel 10. If you can come up with a name for her, I would be much obliged. I'll PM you about this, I have an idea.
