Here, we shall develop the VEC backstory. I'm actually thinking of doing a full-on story about this, a la Colorwomen Scroll (only longer).

Does this include backstories for the individual members?

Are you going to be writing actual stories for them, Toz? If so, I'd love to help you out with it.

I've already come up with Hohenheim's and I guess we already have Bronze's so how did their organization form I wonder...
And what part did the Horned One play because he seems to be the one responsible for the philosopher's stone and the man in Blood to becoming the Blood Alchemist. Plus I think something happened in the past that made the Bronze Mage and Hohenheim's relationship go sour, since when they first saw each other again they were at each other's throats hmmm... potential story ideas?

Here's one:
Captain Hypoglycemia-
Johnny Alden was your average guy, until one day when he volunteered for a government experiment.
And, in typical comic book fashion, things went wrong. It vastly increased his aggression when in combat, and his physical prowess increased 10-fold. He was a very powerful fighter now... but the experiment didn't cure one of Johnny's pre-existing health problems: hypoglycemia. So due to his low blood sugar, though notorious for picking fights with random people, he would only last about 30 seconds before fainting, earning him the name "Captain Hypoglycemia."
When he realized he was getting no where in life, he joined the VEC to fight for a greater cause.
-Best I got for now; we'll probably edit it in the future.

I've got the beginnings of one for Hivemind, but it hinges on the "Story Game is canon to 3WSR" idea. I'm also thinking about Chessmaster.

Rodney the intern-
Not evil per se, but he is still a member of VEC. A business major at a local university, he took up the position for the summer to satisfy the requirements for graduation. Something of a straight man, when things go crazy he is often the one who keeps a level head, or points out the flaw with evil plans. He doesn't really want to be evil, but he does what he says because he doesn't want to upset the bronze mage; after all he needs his signature for the paperwork when this is all over.
Like typical intern duties, he often does coffee and doughnut runs, but he also makes powerpoints to interest recruits.

The Blood Alchemist (A.K.A. Hohenheim) -
He was originally the first Man in Blood, and when the red stone, which later became the Philosopher's Stone, emerged from the Prism, King Godred personally assigned him the task of uncovering its secrets. The hidden alchemy lab on the recently discovered floor (I forget which one), was the one he use to study this mysterious stone. During his research he learned vast secrets of the future and other tales he swears he will take to the grave with him... But didn't come from the actual stone itself, he was communicated to through it by one called the Horned One, and he promised him something that only the two of them know, and he agreed. He secretly joined the original VEC and was possibly part of the cause it originally split up, little documentation and a lot of he said she said contradicts what has been written. He knew the Orignal Man in Iron personally and is one of the few who actually knows what powers the dragon Metalicana has, and is cautious of his return. Eventually, he lost control of the power given to him by the stone and went mad. He attacked all, and was imprisoned in a suit of armor by the the original Man in Steel, had his original body destroyed, and was banished to "The Gate", a realm between realms. He eventually regained his original mental state while trapped there for 400 years, but traces of his madness were left over when he returned, and now he has become one of the second in commands of VEC under the Bronze Mage, alongside Hivemind. Hohenheim also repaired his friendship with the Bronze Mage and the two have annual luncheons every other week. The name Hohenheim is a nickname he likes to use that he came up with inside "The Gate", while the Blood Alchemist is his official title. The identity and even existence of the Man in Blood was covered up due to the shear destruction he caused and the belief that he would never return. His alchemy lab later was given to the Original Man in Red and his original research on the Philosopher's Stone is kept hidden in the Archives while copies of it were destroyed. It has yet to be discovered.
Their Toz I covered about all loose ends of his background, does this satisfy your evil intentions?

Yeees... I'm planning on starting the VEC Backstory Story in the works. I could really use more help, since you know the most about the Blood Alchemist/Metalicana. Are you interested?

I would love to help, writing for the VEC is where some of the best parts of the game recently, and learning more of their origins is always fun to see and write what made a certain character become like that..

CHESSMASTER:
Born to a rich noble in the same year as the first Colormen appeared, Chessmaster quickly proved to be a brilliant strategist. Had the first Man In Blue not lived at the same time, he would have been the greatest mind of the century. He invented what is believed to be the first usable firearm, a "self rowing oar", and many other incredible innovations. But when he was sent to investigate the sighting of a "beast like an elephant, with tusks sharper than swords" (The GHB) on Sodor, he was discovered by the Bronze Mage. He would have been killed, but the being later called Hivemind realized his potential and convinced BM to train him in the ways of Magic. (Two of his bodyguards later became Darkhart and Icemeister, while a third became the ancestor of the Men In Sepia). Chessmaster was instrumental in the attempted invasion of Sodor, but after a battle with Man In White, he was defeated and banished to an alternate dimension for "at least 900 years".

The Duplicator-
A recent recruit to the VEC, Dr. Martin Farley was a brilliant biologist fascinated with the idea of cloning. An experiment to create a clone of himself involved creating an unstable mixture with various biological agents. A slight miscalculation resulted in an explosion that released "synthetically created spores" into his body, that resulted in him having the ability to replicate himself.
He joined the VEC, who accepted him because the clones he created fulfilled the need for a "army of nameless grunts" by such organizations.
He is smart, but his physical prowess is only slightly above average compared to the other physically strong members of VEC.
His clones can fight, but they are rather dim-witted and don't have a lot going on upstairs. This is because although they can take Diplicator's physical form, they can't copy his knowledge, memories or experience.
He took up magic to help him control his cloning ability and refine it. An interesting wuirk of this ability- because the process to make new clones requires an unusually rapid metabolism, he has a rather large appetite, and will eat as much as five times as the normal person would, but not gain a pound.
-How's that?

Oh, something I realized with the VEC-
We never quite estaished, are they the long time, "ancient" enimies that the Colormen have fought, or are they relatively new to them?

Relatively ancient. Remember, the first Colorfolk fought them. They probably even predate the Colorwomen.

Interesting; perhaps we should flesh out more Colormen history before going too deep with VEC (with Colormen, we've got a few key events, but nothing solid at this point)

Backstory-
The Cushion:
One day an ordinary guy was traveling, minding his own business, when suddenly he fell into a river. Turns out the river was the same river from the legend of Achilles, only this time the poor guy completely fell into the river, covering even his heel.
When he emerged, he could take no damage from anything, not even falling a great height. Thus, The Cushion was born.

More cool stuff:
*Chessmaster's real name is Dylan Rees. *Worldender is a time-traveler who, in an alternate dimension, was responsible for the destruction of all life on earth. He traveled to 3WSR and joined VEC. It is he who gave Chessmaster his name; modern chess wasn't even invented until the fifteenth century (This will be a running gag when I eventually write that VEC novel; "I'm Chessmaster!" "What the hell is chess?"). *Every thousand years, a being of great power is born, always with the same soul. This being always takes the name Vigaga, and is an extremely powerful shadow sorcerer. Vlad from the story game is also Vigaga. *Darkstorm knew Inferno before they joined VEC. Both Darkhart and Icemeister worked for Chessmaster as well. *There are multiple Great Horned Beasts; the Cubii have released them around the universe in an attempt to take over all of fiction and later reality. Only Xex, Cutebunny, Doomboy, and Hivemind are aware of this, and are subtly manipulating VEC to that end. *Vivian Bloodsphere originally wanted to be a colorwoman. After the Prism turned her down, she singlehandedly created seven lost lineages. As a matter of fact, though she's one of the nicest VEC members, she also has the highest number of kills. *Darkstorm and Darkhart are a couple. *The Giant and Little Monkey Men were created by the GHB after he accidentally killed his two pet capuchins. How he did this is unknown.
