Often times in Literary Mosaic, the victim, other characters and sometimes aspects of the stories get overlooked and are reduced to mere plot points or dismissed after a couple posts.
here we can write in to fill those holes, be it with obituaries, news articles in events, etc.
ill write some this weekend so this makes sense.

OBITUARIES
DR. HERBERT MANNING
September 12, 1868 - June 13, 1941
Respected physician and lecturer at Imperial College London, Dr. Herbert Manning was found dead in his home two days ago, having been murdered by a currently unknown assailant. Highly respected in his field, Dr. Manning, despite his advanced years, continued to inspire future generations of doctors even after formally retiring from practicing Medicine in 1931. The students described him as a highly knowledgeable man who could keep you entertained even well into a three hour lecture, while his colleagues at Imperial College London described him as "a sincere man who genuinely wanted his students to succeed; he didn't want to weed out his students, he wanted his pupils to shine. He encouraged his brightest pupils to shine, and his slower learners to never give up. He was committed to ensuring the next generation of doctors were ready to take his place."
A widower following the death of his wife in 1935, Dr. Manning nonetheless continued to live alone, and proved surprisingly able and fit despite being in his 70s. When asked why he continued to work, he said, "I can see and hear just fine, and I don't feel sluggish. Retirement sounds boring and I want to live my life by my terms." He explained.
His students are mournful of his death, but have said they will continue on because "it is what Dr. Manning would have wanted of us; he would not want us to give up." Plans are being made for the next graduating class of doctors to honor Dr. Manning during their ceremony.
His funeral will be held on June 10th, in a private ceremony with friends and family. He will be buried with military honors, as thanks for his service in the Anglo-Manipur War of 1891. He is survived by his children Albert, Winston, Olivia and Millie, and their spouses, who collectively have 7 grandchildren, and by his brother Charles, a minister who will preside over his funeral mass.
