Now, before you jump on me for this being too short, this was written by me I don't know how long ago, and I only found it again today. I admit it's not my best work. You may enjoy it, you may not, but here it is. And Justice For None
I am who I am, and then again, I am not. I have been a prisoner here for a short yet long time. I have no name here, but am number 8254.
I was a brilliant scientist, with a bright future ahead of me, until I was accused of murdering a count by shooting him from my window. It is true that we did not get along very well, as we both had different views of certain subjects, and we did live across from each other, but I swear, I did not shoot him. And yet, I was imprisoned in this jail after a trial, which, I now believe, was unjustly made.
And so I, #8254, am about to be hung in a little house used for executioners. Only four people are here - me, the hangman, and two policemen. They allowed me to write a few words, and this is all I have to say. I now find myself with a rope around my neck, with the Count about the pull the rope.
