Here we can discuss the Colorfolk's base of operations. I'll add in a list of rooms soon.

A brief history:
Originally build solely for the Colormen, the Great Hall acts as both a strategic base and a home for the Colormen. It's design is a perfect reflection of the Colormen's nature; Grand in size, humble in appearance. It's location is deep within Sodor's forests, so that evil forces cannot find it. Indeed, even if evil were to find it, they would not be able to do much, as a protective charm prevents evil from entering the Great Hall, if they do, they will be destroyed in a matter of seconds.
Though its full name is the Great Hall of the Colormen, it is also home to the Colorwomen in the New Era.

The Underground Areas
Floors -1 through -4 were built to make room for the anticipated high number of Colorfolk, although the barracks on the aboveground floors proved to be sufficient. The Colorwomen have since taken up residence down here.
Floor -5 was entirely taken up by a massive kitchen. It is worth noting that this floor was much smaller than the floors above and below it. There are suspected to be some secret rooms here, but nothing is confirmed.
Floor -6 was a massive mess hall, with space to seat around 10 thousand. It has since reentered use again, replacing the traditional "cram as many into the entry hall as we can" method of communal dinners.
Floor -7 was a massive workshop, containing an the original forge where the Artifacts were crafted, as well as the Erdagovern Horseless Carriage (since relocated to a museum).
Floor -8 was a massive armory where the artifacts are stored when not in use. Additionally, several long-lost Colorman armor was found here.
The negative ninth floor contains a massive cathedral designed for Colorfolk to pray before battle. It is designed as a Christian chapel, but Colorfolk of all faiths use it. Plans were found from the 1300's to add more cathedral type rooms for other faiths, but they were never built.
The negative tenth floor seems to be a massive storage room, full of crates. What is in the crates at this time is unknown. Some may contain the bodies of the Colormen who died there at the dawn of the Dark Era.
Floor -11 and below was sealed off for an unknown reason during the late 1100s, roughly 60 years after the first VEC attack. Why this was so is unknown. Most writing on these floors is in the Unknown language.
Floor -11 contained the bodies of many unidentified colorfolk, which have since been removed by the Colorfolk ancestors. But the biggest mystery about this floor is the estimated 1 million Prisms located in crates on this floor. Why they are there or why there are so many is unknown.
Floor -12 was a very small floor that contains only a small room with a map that shows the location of all magic users in real time, and responds to voice commands. It is a very useful tool for observation and intelligence gathering. A scan of the walls suggests a possible reason as to why the floor is so small and why it was sealed of as a whole- some sort of evil residue is contained behind the walls, as if an evil creature lived there at one point.
Floor -13 contains a hub with 12 branching rooms containing various things, including:
*A "Training Simulator" that projects what you think about, similar to the Star Trek Holodecks; *An underground tunnel leading to the Hidden Archives; *10 more rooms (TBA
Floor -14 contained a ton of magic-proof prison cells. It is currently being repaired to Impel Down standards.
Floor -15 contained more barracks, built deep underground in case of an emergency. They have since been repaired to serve as a radiation-proof bunker in the event of a nuclear war or other nuclear disaster.
Floor -16 contained a primitive "Alchemy Lab", as well as a small but functional particle accelerator.
Floor -17 was a funny functional infirmary, which is being restored to 21st century standards.
Floor -18 contained a large beer cellar and distillery. The beer was still drinkable, and some Colorfolk are using the distillery's recipes to recreate the ancient beers.
Floor -19 contains several bins full of rare magical metals, but they are at a great distance from the forge, so they are likely only used in potions.
Floor -20 contains a massive potion-brewing chamber, and floor -21 contains the recipies for those potions.
Floor -22 contains a large mural showing the first 100 years of Colorfolk history, and is reminiscent of the mural on the ceiling of level -9.
Floor -23 is home to 27 mostly intact Dinosaur skeletons and other prehistoric fossils.
Floor -24 contains a mural that appears to show an upcoming battle with the GHB. However, it suggests that winning will require human sacrifice.
Floor -25 contains a large underground farm, as well as accommodations for thousands to live with minimal privacy. It appears to be similar to Level-5 but more long-term.
Floor -26 contains several ores of the precious metals and gemstones found while mining out the space for the Hall.
Floor -27
There are no intentions to explore levels -28 through -30, due to a warning from the Colorfolk ancestors. Why this warning was issued is unknown.

Are we leaving floor -27 blank as a surprise?

For now, yeah. Plus, until we decide why and how it came to be, it's best to leave it blank.

Okay, what do we actually know about the great hall? I've always imagined a mostly-underground building built into a hill with some grounds around it, but I wanna actually pin down what the Great Hall is like, which is why I'm reviving this ancient thread. Here's what we know the Great Hall has, taken from the wiki and various posts: *A plainly furnished entrance hall (not the only way in or out, as fire exits are also mentioned *Bunkrooms for short-term occupation, that each occupy ten colorfolk and have an attached bathroom and kitchenette *Secondary housing, which can accomodate up to four colorfolk and their families and are treated as semi-long term housing *Primary housing, which can house a single family and are used by those who live at the Great Hall full-time *A recreation area, which in the 20th century was renovated with a pool and tennis court *A command central, where meetings are held and plans are made *The Colorfolk Archives, a massive repository of historical, scientific, and magical information *A "training area" for practicing combat and spells *An orchard *A mill *A small stable *An "instrumental laboratory" *A small rooftop garden *Extensive farms, including wheat fields, linseed fields, cattle, a chicken coop, donkeys, greenhouses, a cornfield, and possibly more *A golf course??? colorfolk.fandom.com/wiki/Man_In_Alabama_Crimson *A train to and from the grounds, since it's in the middle of nowhere The stuff in the underground section is still cool, but I don't think we need to rigidly stick to that layout in the new canon. Finally, I suspect there is some sort of secure vault where the Prism itself is kept. I would love to make maps and floorplans and such, because that's the kind of nerd I am, but I'm curious what y'all think the Great Hall has or doesn't have

It is large, but it does not have the "magnificence" of a castle, which is supposed to be a metaphor for their humility, i.e. "rejecting grandiosity" and all that stuff
I can brainstorm on this stuff, but you definitely hit the nail on the head on key established points; as for the underground section, I'm not tied to it and am willing to rework it; since I'm not 100 percent in love with the order anyway.
Side note- the Great Hall established how in this world Alchemy was ironically viewed as a "fool's errand" by the magic world; while magic was capable of many things, not even they pinned down the elixir of life or "lead to gold" (I always interpreted transformation magic as temporary anyway)

The Great Hall is currently being recreated in Minecraft for reference and research purposes. For now, here are details on hall worth noting:
ENTRANCE HALL:
Simply furnished, the highlight of the room is the 12 banners of blue, red, yellow, orange, green, purple, black, white, brown, gray, silver and gold. Each banner is marked with a symbol of the lineage; the Blade of Erdagovern for the Blue, the Javelin of Blackson for Black, etc. Pillars in the center of the room give way to an arched ceiling above
(More to come)
